The method further includes the step of, at the tire monitor, in response to the relatively low frequency signal, transmitting a relatively high transmitting signal to convey data. The data are received at the exciter and subsequently loaded into a receiving unit (14) of the vehicle.

    摘要: A remote tire pressure monitoring system includes a sending unit (12) for each monitored tire (T(1),T(2),T(3),T(4)), and the sending units (12) transmit RF signals, each including an identifier ID(i) and a pressure indicator P(i). A receiver (14) operates in a learn mode in which the receiver associates specific identifiers either with the vehicle or with specific tires. During the learn mode the vehicle is driven at a speed above a threshold speed, such as thirty miles an hour, and identifiers are associated with either the vehicle or the respective tires of the vehicle only if they persist for a selected number of signals or frames during the learning period. In one example, the tires are inflated with different pressures according to a predetermined pattern, and the pressure indicators of the receive signals are used to associate individual tire positions with the respective sending units.

    摘要: For deboning meat, at least one piece of meat (12; 14) is fixed inside a processing device and therein subjected to acceleration forces until structural units able to become detached from one another have reached spatially predefined collection spaces via guiding elements. Acceleration can be maintained at an intermediate level for a predefinable period and then be raised to a final level. In a centrifuge at least one drum cylinder (2; 3; 4; 6; 8) is connected in a non-rotational manner to a power-driven shaft (1; 5; 10). On said shaft and/or along the inner cylinder wall receiving spaces (21; 23; 32; 35; 36; 44) and supporting parts (22; 24; 27; 33; 34) are distributed radially, axially and/or around the circumference in such a way that each piece of meat (11; 12; 14) is able to remain stable both when the centrifuge is at rest and when it rotates, whereby at least a part of the superficial and/or guiding elements supports the remaining bones (13) during movement. Free ends of the receiving spaces or supporting parts, for example fork tips (46), are closer to the shaft (1; 5; 10) than their holding or supporting parts situated radially on the outside, for example lateral sides (43). At least two support elements in the shape of points, lines and/or flat surfaces can be moved on top of each other in a self-locking manner. The alignment of the receiving spaces (21; 23; 32; 35; 36; 44) and/or supporting parts (22; 24; 27; 33; 34) can be adjusted to the prevailing vector of acceleration; said spaces and parts can also have slanting, arched and/or wedge-shaped support elements, such as V-shaped notches (20), recessed edges (45) and such like. Cutting means (29) arranged on the shaft (1; 5; 10) and/or on the inner cylinder wall are able automatically to penetrate into the meat as far as a stop element (30). Moreover, the receiving spaces (21; 23; 32; 35; 36; 44) and/or supporting parts (22; 24; 27; 33; 34) can consist of a single piece and/or be exchangeable. In the case of multiple components or component groups, the same types of support elements, such as ribs, fork tips and such like, preferably follow one after the other at intervals situated radially, axially and/or around the circumference.

    摘要: A system which monitors a vehicle's tire pressures and displays real-time pressure values on a dashboard display while the vehicle is on the road. An electronic unit (100) mounted to the valve stem inside each tire uses a pressure sensor (120) to periodically measure the tire pressure, and uses a transmitter (170) to transmit the measured pressure values, via RF transmission, to a dashboard mounted receiver. The receiver controls a display which indicates to the driver the real-time tire pressure in each wheel. The display also indicates an alarm condition when the tire pressure falls below certain predefined thresholds. The pressure values are compensated for temperature changes inside the tire, and also may be compensated for altitude changes.

    摘要: A system for indicating low tire pressure in vehicles, in which each vehicle wheel has a transmitter (100) with a unique code. A central receiver (200) in the vehicle is taught, at manufacture, to recognize the codes for the respective transmitters (100) for the vehicle, and also a common transmitter code, in the event one of the transmitters (102) needs to be replaced. During vehicle operation and maintenance, when the tires are rotated, the system can be recalibrated to relearn the locations of the transmitters. The transmitters (100) employ surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices (110). An application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) encoder (130) in each transmitter (100) is programmed at manufacture, in accordance with its unique code, to send its information at different intervals, to avoid clash between two or more transmitters (100) on the vehicle. The transmitters (100) are powered by long-life batteries.
