Thus, the plates can have the whole faces securely engaged, and a heat exchanger having an improved heat-exchanging efficiency can be obtained.

摘要： A process for producing a flat heat exchange tube (A) having parallel fluid passages in its interior and comprising an upper wall (1), a lower wall (2), right and left side walls (3, 4) interconnecting right and left side edges of the upper and lower walls (1, 2) and a plurality of reinforcing walls (5) connected between the upper and lower walls (1, 2), extending longitudinally of the tube and spaced apart from one another, by brazing a first tube component member (10) of aluminum and a second tube component member (11) of aluminum into an integral assembly, the first component member (10) including a lower wall forming portion (12) and a plurality of reinforcing wall forming portions (14) integral with and extending upward from the lower wall forming portion (12), the second component member (11) including an upper wall forming portion (17) comprising a brazing sheet having a brazing material layer over at least the lower of upper and lower surfaces thereof. The process comprises forming in advance at least one longitudinally extending ridge (19) for giving enhanced brazing strength on a part of the lower surface of the upper wall forming portion (17 )of the second component member (11) which part corresponds to each of the reinforcing wall forming portions (14), tacking the two component members together with a force applied thereto from above and below, and thereafter brazing the two component members (11, 12).

摘要： A heat exchanger mounted on a motor vehicle in particular characterized in that: there are laminated a plurality of core elements each consisting of two side plates provided at opposite end portions of a fin plate in the flowing direction of a first heat transfer medium, two flat plate portions provided on two side plates, respectively, and a tube portion forming differences in level at positions inwardly of the flat plate portions on the side plates between the flat plate portions, to thereby form a first laminated member; a second laminated member formed in the same manner as above and the first laminated member are opposed to each other and jointed together to form flow paths (tubes) inside of the flat surfaces thus jointed, through which a second heat transfer medium flows; and heat exchange is effected between the first heat transfer medium and the second heat transfer medium. Then, with this arrangement, the thickness of the tubes can be reduced with the joining strength between the core elements being maintained. This arrangement reduces a proportion of the whole core portion accounted for by the tubes, and, conversely, that accounted for by the fin plate can be increased, so that conversely the efficiency of heat exchanging in the core portion and heat radiating performance of the fin plate can be increased.
