摘要： An electro-magnetic wave absorbing member comprises a mixture of short fibers (2) of metal or alloy having a high electro-conductivity, a length of 0.1 mm to 50 mm and a length to diameter ratio larger than 10, ferrite and a high molecular weight synthetic resin. In a modification a sheet of this material is used as a low input impedance layer (13) and laminated with an electro-conductive sheet (12) and an impedance conversion layer (14). The member according to this invention can increase electrical loss contributing to the absorption of electro- magnetive waves, can stably control the absorption and can be used in many applications.

摘要： Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Datenstationssystem mit einer aus Flachbaugruppen bestehenden zentralen Steuereinheit und mehreren an diese anschließbare periphe re Geräte. In der Regel erfolgt dabei die Verbindung der peripheren Geräte mit diesen Flachbaugruppen so, daß diese mit einem Anschlußfeld verbunden sind und die externen Verbindungsleitungen zu den peripheren Geräten an dieses Anschlußfeld herangeführt werden. Demgegenü ber sieht die Erfindung vor, daß an der vorderen Längsseite der Flachbaugruppen 1 je ein Winkel 2 angebracht ist, der den Zwischenraum der nebeneinanderliegenden Flachbau gruppen 1 abdeckt und daß auf diese Winkel für jede auf der Flachbaugruppe befindliche Schnittstelle jeweils ein Signal stecker 10 und ein zugehöriger Kodierschalter 4 befestigt ist. Dadurch entsteht ein aus Teilanschlußfeldern zusammenge setztes, den Flachbaugruppen unmittelzugeordnetes An schlußfeld, so daß die interne Verdrahtung zwischen An schlußfeld und Flachbaugruppen entfallen kann.

摘要： Compositions or composites comprising a polyphenylene ether-styrene resin blend or composition are disclosed which have electromagnetic shielding properties so that when the compositions are used for electronic equipment components of housings they provide shielding against electromagnetic interference referred to as EMI. The composites eliminate the secondary treatments which have been used heretofore to provide these shielding properties, such as the application of electrically conductive silver, nickel, copper and graphite coatings, or the use of metal screens. The novel compositions of a polyphenylene ether-styrene blend contain as a conductive material, which attenuates the EMI, aluminium flakes, or a combination of aluminium flakes with carbon fibers or with a higly conductive carbon black, or a combination of carbon fibers with conductive carbon black, or carbon fibers per se.
