摘要： Methods and apparatus for securing a cylinder liner (114) to a pump module (105) are disclosed. A tension body (116) is disposed about the cylinder liner (114) and attached to the pump module (105). A locking body (118) engages the cylinder liner (114) and is threaded to the tension body (116). A hydraulic load cell (110) is removably attached to the tension body (116) and includes a hydraulic ram (140) arranged to impart a compressive load to the cylinder liner (114) and a tension load in the tension body (116). The locking body (118) can be adjusted axially to contact the cylinder liner (114) and maintain the applied loads, which act as a pre-load to keep the cylinder liner (114) in contact with the pump module (105).

摘要： Methods and apparatus for providing enhanced seal life of a swivel seal assembly by decreasing the effective differential pressure across a given rotating seal. The differential pressure is decreased by providing a pressurised fluid on the low-pressure side of the seal at a predetermined fraction of the operating pressure of the swivel seal assembly. A preferred swivel seal assembly (10) utilises a washpipe (14) and a packing box (18) that are rigidly affixed to their respective conduits (11,12) such that misalignment and dynamic run-out is compensated for in the gap between the washpipe (14) and the packing box (18). A control system (40) monitors and regulates the pressurised fluid supplied to the assembly (10).
