    摘要： A solid paste dispenser (1) that enables the effective use of solid paste for sticking purposes by reducing any paste remaining unused, while not damaging a paper or like surface. The dispenser has a slider (2) holding a stick of solid paste thereon. The slider can be raised and lowered in a cylindrical body (3) by its threaded engagement with a screw rod (5) forming an integral part of a tail plug (4) attached to one end of the cylindrical body so that the solid paste may have a distal end free to protrude from the cylindrical body and retract thereinto. The slider has a plate portion (8) and a cylindrical portion (9) projecting from the center of the plate portion on its side holding the solid paste thereon. The screw rod extends through the cylindrical portion in a threadedly engaged relation therewith. The cylindrical portion (9) has a radially outwardly extending engaging protrusion (10) that is deformable at least at the outer edge portion in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical portion.

A screw rod may extend through the base and tubular portions for engaging therewith in threaded manner. The tubular portion has as an integral part thereof radially outwardly extending protrusions (10,11) so formed as to satisfy the equation S 0 - S M ≥ S 1 + S 2 + ..... + S n where S 0 stands for the area (cm 2 ) of the upper surface of the base portion, S 1 to S n each stand for the area (cm 2 ) of the lower surface of one of the n protrusions, and S M stands for a maximum area (cm 2 ) of S 1 to S n ; in which each of S 0 and S 1 to S n excludes the area occupied by the tubular portion. The slider can firmly hold a solid paste while enabling less waste of paste for a more effective use thereof.

    摘要： To make full use of a rod-like glue contained in a cylindrical dispenser main body of a glue dispenser to its final portion, a spiral member (10)of a rotary operator element (9) of the glue dispenser has a spiral outer diameter which is set to be equal to or larger than 30 % and equal to or smaller than 80 % of the outer diameter of rod-like glue, and a spiral pitch which is set to be equal to or larger than 50 % and equal to or smaller than 300 % of the spiral outer diameter. The spiral member is directly screwed to the rod-like glue integrally attached to a slider (6) coupled with a bottom portion (5) of the glue (4) by elastic retaining pieces (7) by which it is not necessary to form a top face of the slider in a recessed shape. The rod-like glue can be extracted and retracted from and to a dispenser main body by moving up and down the glue by rotating the rotary operator element. The elastic retaining pieces fold down by strongly pressing the rod-like glue onto a coating face when the rod-like glue is decreased to a length close to the elastic retaining pieces. The rod-like glue therefore can be fully used up to its lowermost portion.

Accordingly the base member 16 rotates and restraint of rotation of the supply reel 4 is released when the transfer head 5 is pressed against the transferred surface S, and the base member 16 is restored to an original position by the spring member 20 to restrain rotation of the supply reel 4 when pressing of the transfer head 5 is released.
