    摘要: The invention relates to a carbonation device (1) for water contained in a bottle (4) with a pouring spout and gas inlet opening (33). The device comprises a bottle sealing system (2) and a gas injection system (3). The sealing system (2) and a first gas injection element (31) form part of the base of the bottle (43). The bottle (4) is held in a case (10) in a position in which the gas inlet opening (33) on the sealing system (2) and the gas injection system (3) are functionally connected with the bottle (4) and can be opened by means of an operating element (7). Actuation of the operating element opens a gas supply connection (5) which is linked to a gas bottle (8) supported by the case (10). A second gas injection element (32) actuates the sealing system in such a way that the operating element (7) causes the second gas injection element to be moved in relation to the first, with a view to opening the gas inlet. The device permits the gas rising from the bottom of the bottle to be mixed especially intimately with the water. The gas bottle (8) can be joined by means of a quick-release coupling. The gas inlet and outlet are separate from each other and can be closed individually.

    摘要: For domestic use in the prepartion of carbonated beverages there is provided a cartridge (C), adapted to be inserted into a container filled with the beverage to be carbonated, and the container is closed. The cartridge has a seal, such as a unidirectional valve body (20), which is at least partly made of a maceratable material in a compact state, such as gelatine, starch, sugar, felt, paper, and the like substances which dissolve, disintegrate, or otherwise react with liquid to become soft when soaked. The cartridge is inserted into the container so that the seal becomes wetted, and after a while the material softens, ceases to function as a sealing element, and allows the release of the gas from the cartridge to admix with the beverage within the container.

    摘要: Apparatus for gasifying a liquid with a fluid supplied in liquid form has a discharge conduit (40) for the fluid in which there are one or more restricted cross-section flow paths in a material providing a heat source for converting the fluid to a dry gas. Sealing means are urged resiliently against the open lip of a liquid-filled container (4) into which the discharge conduit projects. Control means for the discharge rate of the dry gas flow from the conduit limit the pressure rise in the container. The sealing means comprises portions of greater flexural compliance permitting excess pressure to be vented from the container. The apparatus may comprise two telescopically movable parts, one holding the liquid container (4) and the other (6) holding a sealed bulb of the gasifying fluid. Said container and bulb are mounted in the parts such that said telescoping movement adjusts itself to accommodate different sizes of container and capsule.
