Each specific one of the target hash-values represents a specific target attribute identifying, e.g., a targeted calling party or a targeted called party in a targeted communication. During the setting up of any candidate communication on the network, a candidate hash-value is determined of the candidate attribute that identifies, e.g., the calling party or the called party of the candidate communication. The candidate communication is considered a targeted communication only if the candidate hash-value matches any of the stored target hash-values.

A user equipment 100 has a memory unit 102 which stores service class information showing correspondence between service classes indicative of available communication services, and service class codes to discriminate the service classes. A notice information transmitting unit 101 then receives a restriction message indicative of a service class number from an RNC 200. When the restriction message including the service class number is received, a restricting unit 104 specifies a service class corresponding to the service class number stored in the memory unit 102 and implements a communication restriction in the service class on a communication processing unit 105.

摘要： A system for controlling wireless phone usage enables a supervisor to establish user profiles for supervised users of wireless phones across a range of parameters, which are stored in a user profile database. Such parameters can include one or more locations, at which use of the wireless phone is restricted or permitted. In addition, restrictions on phone use, such as cumulative usage time, number of messages or number of bytes, can be provided based upon total phone usage within a specified control period, time periods, dates or days of the week during which phone use is restricted or permitted. One or more lists including numbers or other identifiers that are always-accessible can be provided, and one or more lists including numbers or other identifiers that are never-accessible can also be provided. In the event a call, message or browse does not satisfy predefined criteria, the communication attempt is blocked. Predetermined messages can be played or displayed to the called or calling party, as applicable, when a communication attempt is blocked. Boolean combinations of restrictions and permissive use criteria for the wireless phone can be specified to provide for flexibility when establishing use criteria for the wireless phone.

Der Freigabeschlüssel gestattet die Benutzung einer im Kommunikations-Endgerät installierten Steuersoftware für die Leistungsmerkmalsteuerung.
In der zentralen Einrichtung wird daraufhin die Berechtigung des auffordernden Kommunikations-Endgerätes zur Benutzung der Steuersoftware geprüft, und bei positivem Prüfergebnis der Freigabeschlüssel von der zentralen Einrichtung an das Kommunikations-Endgerät übermittelt.
Danach erfolgt die Leistungsmerkmalsteuerung durch Abarbeiten der Steuersoftware unter Verwendung des Freigabeschlüssels im Kommunikations-Endgerät.
