Abstract:
An in ground termiticide/bait tube device for insect detection and control includes a first outer housing (1) tube fixedly implanted into the ground and a second inner tube (7) removably receivable within the outer housing (1). The inner tube contains bait for detecting and controlling termite activity, and can be inspected or replaced by removing the inner tube from the outer tube. The inner tube is mounted within the outer tube by rotation along a lead thread such that maximum relative rotation assures alignment of openings in the inner and outer tubes. The device further includes a flexible cap to provide tampering resistance when the inner and outer tubes are installed below ground. The cap is designed to cooperate with the outer tube to oppose rotational movement of the cap and inner tube in a direction resulting in the removal of the inner tube from the outer tube when the device is in an operational state. Support elements are provided to improve the alignment of the openings in the inner and outer tubes, and to increase structural support at the area of which the inner and outer tubes are rotated into engagement.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Falle (1) für Wildtiere, insbesondere automatische oder mechanische Falle, umfassend: ein Gehäuse (10) mit einem Fallenraum (2), der mindestens eine Zutrittsöffnung (11a, 11b), welche verschließbar ist aufweist, wenigstens zwei Kameras (15a, 15b) mit automatischer Bilder- oder / und Videoerfassung; einen Auslösemechanismus für die Falle, ein Kommunikations- und Steuerungssystem zur Übermittlung von Bild- und/oder Videodaten und zum Empfang von Steuerungsbefehlen, optional mit einem Alarmierungssystem (17), das in der Lage ist, einen Benutzer zu alarmieren, wenn ein Tier gefangen ist, und eine Energiequelle zur Versorgung der Falle (1) mit Energie, wobei die Kameras in unterschiedlichen Winkeln oder an unterschiedlichen Stellen, bevorzugt an einer ersten Seite (3) und einer der ersten Seite (3) gegenüberliegenden zweiten Seite (4) im oder am Fallenraum (2) angeordnet sind und einen den gesamten Fallenraum (2) erfassenden Bildaufzeichnungsbereich aufweisen sowie ein Verfahren zum Betrieb einer solchen Falle.

A selective control system of an invertebrate population comprising a compressed air unit (102), an attractant tank (104), a poison dispensing unit (106), and a disposal tank (108). There is a capture and identification unit (110) with a compartment (112) for housing a specimen of the population of invertebrates and a camera (116) for taking at least one image of the individual in the compartment (112). In an disposal-release unit (130), areas are defined for different functions. A processing means 140 analyzes the taken image to establish a detection and change of area to release or dispose the individual.

An indoor air flow control device (1) having a first end (2) comprising an air inlet and a second end (3) comprising an air outlet, said air flow control device (1) further comprising; a power source portion (4); a liquid supply portion (5) including liquid material and means for heating said liquid material, adapted to be connected to said power source portion (4), wherein said power source portion (4) is adapted to activate said means for heating the liquid material to heat the liquid material to a temperature sufficient to vaporize the liquid material thereby forming an aerosol, and wherein said first end (2) is adapted to deliver air to an air pathway upstream of the power source, such that said aerosol is able to exit through said second end (3), wherein said indoor air flow control device (1) is connectable to a bellows (6) arranged at the first air inlet end, wherein said bellows is adapted to be activate to push air from said bellows trough said air inlet and via an air pathway to said liquid supply portion (5) such that said aerosol formed in said liquid supply portion (5) is pushed out through said second end (3) and air outlet.

An animal trap and method for operating the animal trap are provided. The animal trap comprises a housing, a closing member, an actuator module for moving the closing member between an opened state and a closed state an animal extermination module for exterminating an animal inside the housing, a sensor module for detecting a presence of an animal inside the housing and for obtaining animal data on the animal inside the housing, and a controller for controlling the actuator module and the animal extermination module based on the presence detected and animal data obtained by the sensor module.
