According to the technical solutions in this application, channel damage caused by filtering costs is reduced, and service transmission performance is improved, without increasing hardware costs and software control complexity.

摘要: Disclosed is a method, system, and OLTs for OLT state transition in a dual-parented PON protection system. The dual-parented PON protection system includes a primary OLT and a secondary OLT, configuration information of an ONU having been synchronized on both OLTs, wherein when the secondary OLT fails to detect its communication with the primary OLT and an optical signal from the ONU in the second given time window, the secondary OLT switches to active. Examples of the disclosure render the PON system highly serviceable, more robust, more reliable, and more resilient; besides, the service interruption time may be stabilized to 50 milliseconds or below.

摘要: Disclosed is a mechanism for implementing link state flooding reduction (LSFR) in an Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) network. The mechanism includes receiving data indicating connectivity of a plurality of nodes in the network. A flooding topology is built based on the connectivity. This includes selecting one of the nodes as a root node, and building a tree of links connecting the root node to the nodes in the network. The flooding topology is stored in a memory. The flooding topology may not be to the remaining nodes in the network. Link state messages may then be flooded over the flooding topology.

In an uplink direction, the first ONU is configured to convert received uplink data packets into an uplink optical signal whose wavelength is λi, and the first OLT is configured to receive a plurality of uplink optical signals of different wavelengths, and output user data packets of a corresponding quantity of paths after processing.
