Le procédé d'assemblage de cette palette et des plots n'utilise aucune colle ou autre substance similaire; elle est par conséquent entièrement recyclable et peut provenir d'éléments recyclés. Par ailleurs, de par sa morphologie et l'agencement de ses plots, cette palette remplit les mêmes fonctions que les palettes légères en bois. Cette palette est constituée d'un plateau inférieur (1) pourvu d'au moins une ouverture (6) et d'un plateau supérieur (2), tous deux en carton ondulé, entre lesquels sont agencés d'une façon particulière différents plots (3) constitués de plaquettes (4) de carton ondulé agrafées (5) entre elles.
