    摘要: The present disclosure provides for methods and systems for segmented spread-spectrum communication according to one embodiment of the invention. Segmented spread-spectrum communication may include replicating a signal, spreading each of the replicated signals with a code, and modulating each of the coded signals within a unique spectral segment. The spectral segments may be uniform or nonuniform in width and may or may not be contiguous within the spectrum. The receive processing may include interference detection within a spectral segment. In response to detected interference, spectral segments may be discarded, a signal gain of each segment may be adjusted according to the level of interference, and/or selected segments may be adjusted according to the level of interference. Moreover, at the receiver a number of transmitted spectral segments may be combined. As a further embodiment, a plurality of signals may spread among a plurality of spectral segments.

    摘要: An OFDM-CDMA transmission apparatus comprising: a first spreader (101) for carrying out spreading processing on a plurality of transmission signals using mutually different spreading codes; a second spreader (102) for carrying out spreading processing on a known signal at a predetermined spreading factor using a spreading code different from said spreading codes; a frequency division multiplexer (104, 105) for breaking down the known signal subjected to spreading processing by the second spreader into a plurality of chips, frequency division multiplexing said chips, and allocating the frequency division multiplexed chips to the same number of subcarriers as the spreading factor arranged in a frequency axis direction, and frequency division multiplexing said plurality of transmission signals subjected to spreading processing by the first spreader and allocating the frequency division multiplexed transmission signals to said subcarriers; and a transmitter (106) for transmitting simultaneously the chips and the transmission signals frequency division multiplexed and allocated to the subcarriers by the frequency division multiplexer and a method to operate the transmission apparatus.
