    摘要： A quick plate press is provided with a plurality of side by side plates (2), which delimit interposed spaces (3) for panels. Said press (1) comprises compression hydraulic cylinders (4) of the plates (2) and translation means (5) which are provided with a plurality of respective linear hydraulic actuators (6) to alternatively position the spaces (3) at opening means (7), fit for reciprocally remove the plates (2) of a space (3) for entering said space (3).
    Said press (1) includes:

    proportional valve means (10) for individually driving each actuator (6) of translation means (5);
    a plurality of linear encoder means (11), each thereof associated to a respective actuator (6) of translation means (5);
    control means (12) whose input port is connected to linear encoder means (11) and whose output port is connected to proportional valve means (10).

    The control means (12) are fit for driving the actuators (6) of translation means (5) with differences of position or of relative speed, which are lower than predefined threshold values.

    摘要： The invention relates to a radial press comprising two yokes (6,7) and a plurality of cheek plates. The press yokes are arranged on a plane that is perpendicular to the press axis (51). They are located diametrically opposite the press axis and can be moved towards each other in a straight line by means of a drive unit (31), whereby the direction of movement (A) is perpendicular to the press axis (51). At least one part of the cheek plates that are disposed in the press yokes (6, 7) has slide surfaces that respectively cooperate with a control surface (17, 18, 21; 22) of one of the press yokes (6, 7) or an adjacent cheek plate in such a way that all of the cheek plates can be moved in a uniform manner onto the press axis (51) when the press yokes (6, 7) move closer to each other. The drive unit comprises at least one cross slide (31) which is associated with one press yoke (7) and which can be displaced in a position that is perpendicular (B) to the direction (A) of the press yokes (6, 7) as they move towards each other, whereby the displacement of said cross slide is converted into a movement of the associated press yoke by means of a deflection device (32).

    摘要： A simple combination of conventional operations uses a twin press configuration of tandem stationary, vertically acting heating and cooling platen presses (11 and 12) maintained at chosen temperatures in separate frames of a laminating machine. In the first embodiment, the upper platens (13) are fixed and the lower platens (13) are reciprocable; in the second embodiment, the upper platens are reciprocable and only a single substantially unitary bottom platen which has heating and cooling portions separated by an insulation, is fixed. In the first embodiment the machine may be operated in either of two loading paths; in the second embodiment, it may be operated only by loading a book (40) into the heating press (11) in a linear path aligned with the path of the book through the laminating zones of the presses. A novel quick-locking carrier (90) is provided in which a sandwich to be laminated is held.
