    摘要： A pallet assembly (100) including two engagement stringers (102) having a plurality of perpendicular stringers (110) therebetween and engaged, end to end, to each engagement stringer, and one or more inert support surfaces supported thereby. The one or more support surfaces are a plurality of top slats (121) supported and held directly by the frame (101) comprising the stringers and the engagement stringers. The top slats include a structure that is complementary to a feature defined by the frame and that allows the top slats to mate with and be held by the frame. The pallet assembly demands fasteners (140) for assembling the frame; in at least one aspect, the pallet assembly of the present disclosure also demands fasteners for attaching the top slats to the frame. In another aspect, the stringers and the engagement stringers each comprise one or more target inserts for reinforcing the frame of the pallet assembly.

    摘要： A metal profile ( 1, 1A, 1B, 1C ) comprises a main body which forms a first major "dorsal" face ( 3 ) and a second major "ventral" face ( 5 ). The cross-sections of the profile (1, 1A, 1B, 1C) form two lateral edges ( 7, 9 ) and two tubular portions ( 11 , 13), each of which has a maximum width ( WTB ) less than or equal to 0.3 times the overall length ( WP ) of the cross-sections of the profile ( 1 ) itself. Each tubular portion ( 11, 13 ) has a maximum height ( HTB ) substantially comprised between 0.5-1 times the maximum height ( HP ) of the cross-sections of the profile ( 1 ) itself. At or near their centreline, the cross-sections of the profile ( 1 ) form a central longitudinal groove ( 15 ) which extends over at least half of the overall height ( HP ) of the profile ( 1 ). The profile ( 1 ) allows to make metal pallets very resistant and easy to assemble.

    摘要： A metal pallet (10) has a deck (12), a base (14) and a plurality of beams (16) therebetween. The deck (12), the base (14) and the beams (16) may be formed from lightweight sheet metal. The metal sheets are folded into the desired shape to respectively form the beams (16), and panels (18, 22) and slats (20, 32) for the deck (12) and the base (14). The panels (18, 22) and the slats (20, 32) are corrugated and the opposed side edges thereof may be folded upon themselves to provide for robust multi-ply edge constructions. Different types of corrugations may be provided over the panels (18, 22) and the slats (20, 32) to locally reinforce the pallet (10). The bottom portion of the beams (16) may be plastically deformed to create arched opening (58) to permit side entry of pallet handling equipment. The plastically deformed regions (60) of the beams (16) may be configured to improve the mechanical properties of the beam while providing maximal clearance for pallet handling equipment.
