The invention relates to a force-transmitting element (2, 2') for non-detachable workpiece connections, having a flange portion (16) and having a transmitting portion (18), wherein the transmitting portion (18) has a substantially cylindrical inner peripheral surface and wherein the wall thickness of the transmitting portion (18) tapers at least in sections from the end close to the flange portion (16) to the end remote from the flange portion (16). The present invention is based on the technical problem of specifying a force-transmitting element by means of which an operationally reliable non-detachable workpiece connection can be obtained despite relatively small dimensions of the force-transmitting element. The technical problem is solved in that that end of the transmitting portion (18) which is close to the flange portion (16) has at least one latching depression (26) on the outer peripheral surface. The invention also relates to a sliding sleeve (4) for non-detachable workpiece connections, to an arrangement and to a method for producing a non-detachable workpiece connection.
