摘要: A carburetor provided with a fuel flow rate control device (11) disposed midway in a fuel passageway between a fuel pump (8) and a metering jet (4); a level sensor (13) arranged in a passageway (12) for detection connected upright to a portion between the fuel flow rate control device and the metering jet provided in the fuel passageway; an electrical control circuit operating the fuel flow rate control device in accordance with the output delivered from the level sensor so that the level of a fuel column to be formed in the passageway for detection is maintained at a predetermined positon, in order to enable fuel supply with permanent stability to be performed without using a float chamber or without being affected by the vibration of the engine and the turn of a car body.

摘要: In order to insure that, even when there arises a change in the rate of air flowing through an intake mixture passageway, the air-fuel ratio of the mixture which is to be supplied to an engine is always kept constant, the fuel control system comprises: an intake mixture passageway having a first negative pressure generating section and a second negative pressure generating section provided upstream of the first negative pressure generating section for generating a negative pressure weaker than that in the first negative pressure generating section; a fuel passageway having its one end opening in the first negative pressure generating section and its other end connected to a float chamber via fuel metering jet; an electromagnetic valve for controlling the rate of the fuel flowing through the fuel passageway; a negative pressure passageway having its one end opening in the second negative pressure generating section and having its other end connected to the fuel passageway at a site located between the fuel metering jet and the electromagnetic valve; and a level detecting means for detecting whether or not the fuel column formed within the negative pressure passageway is at a preset level and capable of generating an electric signal to control the operation of the electromagnetic valve. The first and second negative pressure generating sections are each constructed by a fixed and/or a variable venturi.

摘要: A fuel supply system for injection carburetors includes an orifice (26), a constant flow rate control device, and a fuel supply source and is provided with a first fuel channel circulating fuel of a predetermined flow rate, a second fuel channel branching off from the first fuel channel between the orifice (26) and the constant flow rate control device for injecting the fuel into a suction tube (2) of the carburetor, an air flow rate detecting device capable of detecting a flow rate of air flowing through the suction tube (2), and a fuel ejection control device capable of metering the flow rate of fuel to be ejected so that a pressure difference with atmospheric pressure which is detected by the air flow rate detecting device is balanced with a fuel pressure difference between the upstream side and the downstream side of the orifice (26). The fuel supply system is simple in structure and can hold an air-fuel ratio of a gas mixture with a high degree of accuracy to a desired constant value, over the entire operation region, through a single fuel control unit.

摘要: A solenoid valve including a first solenoid (14) and a second solenoid (15) to which a smaller electric current is applied than is applied to the first solenoid. The first solenoid is provided at a core (121), and the second solenoid is provided at a support member (124) connected to the core. A cup-shaped plunger (110) is connected to a valve body opening and closing a passage (101), and is moved in accordance with an energization of the solenoids, to open and close the valve body. A contact member (130) is connected to the plunger (110) and inclined relative to the bottom wall (111) of the plunger, to come into tight contact with the support member. A first magnetic path is formed in the core and a cylindrical side wall of the plunger, and a second magnetic path is formed in the support member and the contact member.
