摘要： A trap for a waste outlet for use in drainage facilities is described which provides a water seal. The trap comprises a one-way valve (23) at the trap inlet (14) and a pressure one-way valve (24) at the trap outlet (16) such that, in addition to prevent ingress of animals from the soil pipe to the buildings, prevents ingress of odours and the water seal being presence of a negative pressure differential across the outlet one-way pressure valve that air can pass through the pressure valve (24) to relieve the pressure differential but in the event of a positive pressure differential, air is prevented from passing through the oneway pressure valve (24).

摘要： A waste outlet fitting 10 for use in a basin or bath is described. The fitting includes a brass housing 12 for sealingly mounting the fitting 10 within a waste outlet, the housing defining a throughbore. A brass plug 14 is captively received within the housing 12 and a brass actuator 16 is attached to the plug 14, for use in moving the plug 14 from the closed configuration to an open configuration. The outer surface 18 of the housing 12 includes a threaded portion 20 on which are mounted attachment elements 22 for securing the waste outlet fitting 10 to the basin or bath.

摘要： A mechanically-actuable combined seal and strainer plug ( 10 ) is provided. The plug ( 10 ) includes a length-adjustable stem ( 20 a), ( 20 b), which carries a seal ( 28 ) and a strainer ( 30 ). In use the strainer ( 30 ) is located above the seal ( 28 ), to permit easy access and cleaning. The stem ( 20 a), ( 20 b) is received in a waste outlet. The length of the stem may be adjusted by exertion of force on a knob ( 32 ) on the upper surface of the strainer ( 30 ); as the stem changes in length, the seal ( 28 ) engages and disengages with a surface of a waste outlet. When the seal ( 28 ) is disengaged, waste water can flow through the outlet passing first through the strainer ( 30 ) to remove solid particles.
