The invention relates to a mirror for an automobile consisting in two assembled basic parts, wherein a first basic part is a mirror frame fixed to an automobile and the second basic part is a mirror frame casing and both basic parts have complementary connecting parts of a connector. The first connecting part (1a) is fixed to a sliding member (3) that is movably mounted on the second basic part (2a) and the second connecting part (1b) is fixed to the second basic part (2b). When both basic parts (2a, 2b) are assembled, the sliding member (3) slides on a slide guide (4) of the second basic part (2b) as a result of elastic pretensioning and the slide guide (4) and the sliding member (3) are configured in such a way that the connecting parts (1a, 1b) engage in each other when the basic parts (2a, 2b) are assembled.

The present invention concerns a process for producing dispersions of water-soluble vinyl polymers and a stabilizer for carrying out this process. Such water-soluble, particularly cationic vinyl polymers, are employed on a large scale as process expediters for carrying out, for instance, separating processes in water treatment or waste water purification, respectively, in the paper, coal and ore industries, in oil production or also in the food stuff industry, among others, for floculation, coagulation, retention or dewatering. According to the present invention, water soluble vinyl polymers are homo- or copolymerized in the presence of a dispersion stabilizer of the invention. The stabilizer consists of a graft copolymer whose backbone is formed by polyethylene oxide and its grafted branches of cationic vinyl monomers. Among others, cationic, hydrophobically modified vinyl monomers can be advantageously employed. Copolymerizations can be carried out between cationic or non-ionic hydrophobically modified vinyl polymers and cationic or non-ionic, non-hydrophobically modified vinyl polymers.

Depending on the initial carbon content of the steel scrap, a reducing and carbon-containing atmosphere may be provided to carburize the particles as they are being embrittled. A quenching operation is provided at the end of the process to embrittle the particles and before the particles are ground. The ground grit which is produced may then be sorted by size and used as an abrasive compound, or, alternatively may be further ground and annealed in a subsequent operation to provide suitable powder for forming sintered parts. Prior to annealing the grit may be further ground in a partial oxidizing atmosphere to preoxidize the powder, in order to provide oxygen directly within the powder to react with any residual carbon so that the carbon monoxide gas can be formed and the powder can be substantially free of both carbon and oxides when the reaction is complete. Alternatively, the powder may be preheated in a controlled atmosphere prior to annealing to preoxidize the powder.
