The invention comprises a porous sponge-like cellulosic material to be used in treatment of injuries and/or burns. The cellulosic material comprises zinc, copper, selenium and/or iron bound to and/or absorbed into the material matrix in amounts sufficient to support wound base granulation and revascularisation, the amount of zinc, copper, selenium and iron being at least 0.1 νg/g dry material.

The invention comprises an apparatus (1) for treatment of waste water with a mainly closed casing (2) where at least one maintenance hatch (3) is arranged. A waste water inlet (12) and a waste water outlet (13) are arranged through the casing (2). Within the casing (2) there is further arranged a waste water filter (11) made at least mainly of a decomposable and plate-like material, through which the waste water coming from the inlet (12) is arranged to pass before it is discharged through the outlet (13). A compost (7) is arranged within the same casing (2) with the filter (11), in which compost an exhausted filter can be composted. The compost is arranged to be at least mainly separated from the path of the waste water. The invention also comprises a method for treatment of waste water and a new manner to use a heat-insulating panel.

Die Erfindung umfasst ein Unterdruckgebläse (1) für Rauchkanal und einen Kehrverfahren, in dem das Unterdruckgebläse verwendet wird. Das Unterdruckgebläse (1) für Rauchkanal umfasst einen Abführungskanal (4), damit funktional verbundenes Gebläse (7) und einen Motor zum Antrieb des Gebläses. Um das Anfangsende (5) des Abführungskanals gegen den abzublasenden Rauchkanal zu dichten, ist um die Öffnung (5) des Anfangsendes des Abführungskanals eine plattenförmige Dichtfläche (2) angeordnet. Die Dichtfläche (2) ist solchermaßen flexibel, dass ihre Größe zum jeweiligen Rauchkanal angepasst werden kann.

The invention relates to an ice resurfacing machine laser control unit (1), used to optimisation of the ice layer on an artificial ice track, such as an ice hockey rink, which laser control unit has been adapted for ice resurfacing machines. The thickness (20) of an ice layer is optimized with a beam (11) fro a laser transmitter (10). The ice resurfacing machine (2) comprises a laser receiver (8) and mechanisms to regulate the elevation of the scraper (3) blade.
Abstract:
The object of the invention is a releasing method and a releasing member for releasing a towed device from a cableway at a desired point without an assisting person or without stopping the lift. According to the method a towing member (2) connected to the towing rope (10) of the towing apparatus (5) of the cableway (4) is released from the clutch member (1) in the towed device by changing the vertical towing angle (R) between the towing member (2) and the clutch member (1) at the release point. In order to change the angle, a releasing member (3), developed for the method and mounted at the release point, is used, whereby the member has a vertical section (V) arranged intersectingly on the towing line at a height, which allows the towed device to pass below it. A safety system (9) can be connected to the releasing member, which system results in the stopping of the lift in the case that the load in the towing direction acting on the horizontal portion (V) exceeds the allowed value. By using this releasing method the dangers which are created if the release would occur too early or too late, are avoided.

A biodegradable carrier is produced for preservation and/or controlled delivery of biologically active agents where said biodegradable carrier is a silica xerogel which is made from water and silane by using acid or base as a catalyst, and biologically active agents in said biodegradable carrier are infecting and/or transfecting viruses. Silica xerogel material can be pharmaceutically acceptable and it can be used as a medicine.

Non-fibrous substances, such as wood resins, aromatic components, salts and polysaccharides, are extracted from said wood material into a liquid fraction, such as process water or other suitable water based liquid. The invention relates to a method for rolling dough, wherein a sheet (8) of dough brought to a satellite head (1) by means of a first belt conveyor (7) is rolled by means of the satellite head (1) and a counter-roller (5) into a thinner sheet (12) of dough of approximately uniform thickness. Between the satellite head (1) and the counter-roller (5) there is a second belt conveyor (11), wherein the conveyor belt is arranged to travel doubled so that that belt of the belt conveyor (11) which touches the satellite head (1) travels in the opposite direction relative to the belt touching the sheet (12) of dough or also conveying it.
