    摘要: A method for cleaning a photoreceptor of an image forming apparatus comprises the steps of actuating cleaning means of a cleaning system (8) and rotating the photoreceptor (1) before a usual image forming operation, after a predetermined time charging a particular area of the photosensitive drum (1), causing residual toner adhering to a sealing member (10d) of a developing unit to attract to the charged area, carrying the attracted residual toner with rotation of the photoreceptor to the cleaning means of the cleaning device (8), and removing the residual toner by the cleaning means. Accordingly, the present invention eliminates the possibility of mixing of colour of previously used toner into a toner image after replacement of a developing unit by another unit containing different colour of toner.

    摘要: The housing (1) of a delivery unit (A) is en­gaged with a predetermined part of the body (B) of an image forming apparatus, the housing (1) being remova­ble from the body (B). An endless belt (2) mounted on the housing (1) is wound on a pair of pulleys (4), (6). One of the pulleys (4),(6) has a first shaft (5) secured to the housing (1), while the other pulley (4) has a second shaft (3) diametrically movable with re­spect to the housing (1). The second shaft (3) is at­tached to the body (B) with the endless belt (2) stretched to restrain the housing (1) from being re­moved from the body (B). The second shaft (3) is re­movable from the body (B). The delivery unit (A) is attached without use of screws. Accordingly, the deli­very unit (A) may be readily attached to the body (B) with no possibility of the photoreceptor being dam­aged. In an image forming apparatus having electric component elements disposed under the delivery unit (A), the maintenance of the elements can be facili­tated.
