Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for producing a light-weight refractory brick, containing at least one aluminum silicate and/or a calcium-aluminum silicate, and an inorganic binder, the composition being characterized in that the composition has a content of calcium silicates of 5 to 25% by weight relative to the dry composition. The invention further relates to a light-weight refractory brick, to the use thereof, and to a method for the production thereof.
