    摘要: The invention relates to a procedure for the processing of an unexpected disconnect request in an access node (AN) which is connected to a local exchange (LE) over a V5 interface. In the access node (AN), call setdown is effected by means of a disconnect message, which is sent from the local exchange (LE) and on the basis of which the call resources in the local exchange (LE) are released. According to the invention, the resources reserved in the access node (AN) for the call are preserved. Moreover, the local exchange (LE) is informed that the subscriber is busy, thus preventing the occurrence of an undefined condition between the local exchange (LE) and the access node (AN).

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for controlling the flow of data messages exchanged between asynchronous digital stack processes in an unreliable distributed multiprocessor system, such as an SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) node. In accordance with the invention, the inter-process flow control algorithm is based on a credit mechanism. According to that mechanism, a sending process (P1) must receive credit from the receiving process (P2, P3, P4) before the sending process (P1) can send messages (Q) to the recipient. The sending process (P1) uses in the account (account P2, account P3, account P4) of each receiving process the process' own pool (V2, V3, V4) and, in addition, a common pool (Y1) for all the receiving processes, so that a pool at each given moment represents the unused amount of credit obtained form the receiving processes (P2, P3, P4) and so that the free portion in the pool indicates how much there is room left in the message buffer for messages (Q) sent to the receiving process.

Consecutive bursts of communication data transmitted from the second station are identified at the first station. Respective beam directions from which sequential communication data bursts are received by the first station are determined from a plurality of adjacent beam directions. One or more of the beam directions are selected for transmission of signals from the first station to the second station so that when it is determined that the sequential communication data bursts are received by the first station from two different beam directions, the two different beam directions are simultaneously selected for transmission of the signal from the first station to the second station.
