The invention relates to a device which is used to guide cables or wires through walls. Said device comprises a maintaining device (10) which is connected to two or more cable maintaining elements (30). Said maintaining elements surround, in a frame-like manner, a mounting area which comprises a through-opening, and the cable maintaining elements are arranged in the region of said through-openings. According to the invention, the mounting area has a matrix-form and comprises at least two mounting lines and at least two mounting gaps which enable the mounting area to be equipped in a simple and easy manner. The mounting lines and the mounting gaps predefine, respectively, a constant modular dimension, and the cable maintaining elements are dimensioned with respect to the width and the longitudinal extension in the direction of the mounting line and direction of the mounting gap, such that the width and the length correspond to a multiple whole number of the modular dimension.

The invention relates to a shift-control housing, a switch case with a housing body for instance. The housing body is provided with an air conditioning device in the area of a side wall (10). Said air conditioning device has a heat exchanger (20). At least one fan (33) is fixed to the heat exchanger (20). The fan conveys air from the inner chamber of the shift-control housing to inner air guiding channels (28, 2) of the heat exchanger. The aim of the invention is to simply construct such a shift-control housing that can have different cooling performances. To this end, the heat exchanger is embodied as an air-to-air heat exchanger which is provided with outer air guiding channels (28, 1) that are spatially separated from the inner air guiding channels (28, 2). The heat exchanger is provided with end sections in the area of the lateral ends of the outer and inner air guiding channels. Collar housings (30) can be fixed to said end sections. The fans (33) are held at the collar housings.
