    摘要： The present invention relates to a stair tread element, such as a stair tread cover element or stair tread renovation element, for the purpose of imparting a durable surface with a predetermined appearance to a stair tread, wherein the stair tread element comprises: - a tread surface element which can be arranged during use on the tread surface of a stair tread, - a nose element which can be arranged during use against the nosing of the stair tread, which nose element is connected to the tread surface element, and - a surface finishing layer for covering and protecting what is during use the upper side of the tread surface element and the front side of the nose element, wherein the rear side of the nose element is likewise provided with a surface finishing layer.
