The invention relates to propylene terpolymers containing between 80 and 99.5 mol % structural units derived from propylene, between 0.1 and 15 mol % structural units derived from ethene or a C4-C6-1-olefin (I) and between 0.1 and 15 mol % structural units derived from a C4-C12-1-olefin (II) which differs from the C4-C6-1-olefin (I). The propylene terpolymers contain a proportion of regioregularly '1-2' inserted propylene units corresponding to formula (1) of more than 0.99, have a melting point TM, determined on the basis of the differential scanning calorimetry peak maximum, of less than 135 °C and a molar mass (MW) weight average of more than 80,000 g/mol. The xylol-soluble portion (XL) of the propylene terpolymers in weight % corresponds to the inequation (2): XL ≤1411,21 exp (-0,0591 TM [°C]) -0,05.
