The apparatus allows the delivery of a stack of planar articles, for example biscuits, into a pack automatically and with low breakage rates.

Méthode d'emballage d'un produit alimentaire comprenant une bande de matière d'emballage (1) se déroulant d'une bobine (2) et comportant sur chacune de ses surfaces "a" et "b" respectives, (1a) et (1b), des régions (5) s'étendant le long de chaque bord et sur lesquelles on a appliqué à froid un adhésif (6); ladite bande de matière d'emballage comporte également une ou plusieurs parties centrales vierges (4', 5'),et a été enroulée sur la bobine avec une bande de matière intercalaire (3). La bande (1) est coupée transversalement en feuilles et chaque feuille enroulée autour du produit alimentaire. Les parties de la feuille adjacentes aux bords coupés sont hermétiquement collées les unes aux autres pour former un tube, et les parties de la matière d'emballlage adjcentes aux extrémités ouvertes du tube sont ensuite pliées et pressées surles faces terminales du produit alimentaire afin d'obtenir des fermetures hermétiques.
