Eine Lüfteranordnung hat einen Lüfter (10) mit einem Lüftergehäuse (30), innerhalb dessen ein Lüfterrad (18) angeordnet ist, welches im Betrieb Luft von einer Saugseite des Lüfters (10) zu einer Druckseite fördert. Radial außerhalb des Lüftergehäuses (30) ist ein Befestigungsrahmen (34) angeordnet, welcher zur Befestigung der Lüfteranordnung (40) dient. Eine Membran (32) aus einem elastischen Werkstoff verbindet das Lüftergehäuse (30) und den Befestigungsrahmen (34) elastisch miteinander und ist mit Ausnehmungen (33) versehen, die bei einem Verschluss der Druckseite der Lüfteranordnung (40) ein Rückströmen von vom Lüfterrad (18) geförderter Luft von der Druckseite zur Saugseite der Lüfteranordnung (40) ermöglichen.

A system and method for reclaiming backing material from waste carpet or other products includes a chopper (110) capable of handling large pieces of waste carpet, at least two grinding or granulation steps (114, 124) to reduce the size of the waste carpet pieces and to dislodge carpet fibers from the remaining material, and at least three separation steps (116, 126, 138) to remove the dislodged fibers; one of the separation steps involves vibratory screening. Backing material reclaimed in this manner has a relatively low contamination level, and is suitable for reuse as carpet backing with little need for the addition of virgin backing material. The system and method further provide for the extrusion of the reclaimed backing material for use as new carpet backing.

Conventionally, different metal molds are necessary to mold different-sized flat display panel cabinets (13a,13b). A common cabinet is used for different-sized flat display panels (11e). Also, a core metal mold (14) is shaped to have a concave side surface that forms a resin molding cavity (17a) accommodating all the sizes of the cabinet for flat display panel. By doing this, a common metal mold (14,15,16) can be used for different-sized flat display panels.

In a process for producing pieces and parts of furniture, cardboard (K) is wound into a winding (W) which is then pressed and if required cut. A production device is also disclosed. This process is particularly suitable for producing parts of upholstered furniture, such as arm rests, backs and seats, also in a single piece.
