A method for manufacturing an underlay material (8) to be set under parquet or a laminate, the underlay material including a sheet material layer (1) and a flexible cellular plastic material layer (3) bonded under the sheet material layer, and a bottom surface of the cellular plastic layer being processed for providing an air space, whereby the bottom surface of the cellular plastic material layer (3) is processed by melting the cellular plastic material locally for providing an air space (9) and for simultaneously bonding the cellular plastic material layer to the sheet material layer (1). An underlay material manufactured by such a method is also described.

Bei einem Verfahren zum Herstellen einer in der Lebensmittelindustrie einsetzbaren, aus einer Basisfolie (110) und einer Kunststofffolie (120) zusammengesetzten Komposit-Folie (100), wird eine Bereitstellung frei von giftigen Substanzen bei fettresistenter und gut kompaktierbarer Ausführung dadurch erreicht, dass die Basisfolie (110) und die Kunststofffolie (120) im Vorfeld einer Zusammenfügung zu einer Komposit-Folie (100) von getrennten Spulenkörpern (210, 220) abgewickelt und einer Verpresseinrichtung (300) zugeführt werden, in der sie mittels mindestens zweier gegeneinander vorgespannten Rollen (310, 320) unter Einfügung eines Klebematerials und unter Aufbringung eines vorgegebenen Druckes zu einer Komposit-Folie (100) zusammengepresst werden, die im Nachgang auf einen dritten Spulenkörper (230) aufgewickelt wird.

The invention relates to a method for producing a layered composite material comprising at least one metallic substrate at least one plastic layer. The problem of achieving an adjustment, tailored to the purpose of use, of properties of a layered composite material in a simple and reliable way is solved in that the method comprises the following steps: providing of the metallic substrate and the plastic layer; applying an adhesion promoter layer along a surface of the metallic substrate and/or of the plastic layer by means of plasma coating using a plasma coating system, wherein during the plasma coating to produce the adhesion promoter layer, the plasma coating system is controlled in such a way that at least in some areas a targeted profile of the adhesion promoter layer is set along the surface of the metallic substrate and/or the plastic layer; and bonding of the plastic layer to the surface of the metallic substrate which comprises the adhesion promoter layer; and/or bonding of the metallic substrate to the surface of the plastic layer which comprises the adhesion promoter layer for producing the composite material.

A method for forming a laminate can comprise moving an initial laminate and a sacrificial web at least partially coated with an adhesive in a downstream direction. The initial laminate can comprise a base web and an interactive web comprising a retained section and a scrap section. The method also can comprise forming a compound laminate by nipping the sacrificial web and at least the scrap section of the interactive web between a raised feature of a nip roller and an opposing support surface so that the adhesive at least partially bonds the sacrificial web to the scrap section. In addition, the method can comprise separating the compound laminate into a resultant laminate, comprising the base web and at least the retained section of the interactive web, and a sacrificial laminate, comprising the sacrificial web and at least the scrap section of the interactive web.
