Abstract:
A traveling toy wheel whose simple configuration allows multiple devices to be enjoyed and can further change fine offsets is provided. The traveling toy wheel includes a first rim member to which a tire is mounted and a second rim member which includes a fitting portion into which a wheel hub of a traveling toy is fitted. Fitting holes as fixing portions are provided in one of the first rim member or the second rim member and elastic convex pieces as fixed portions are provided in the other of the first and second rim members. When the elastic convex pieces are fitted in the fitting holes, the first rim member and the second rim member are jointed relatively unmovably. A plurality of fitting holes are arranged at different positions, so that it is possible to easily adjust an offset of the wheel.
Abstract:
A non-pneumatic tire includes an attachment body (11) attached to an axle, a ring member (14) including an inner rim (12) fitted onto the attachment body (11) and an outer rim (13) configured to surround the inner rim (12) from the outside in a tire radial direction, and a plurality of connecting members (15) disposed between the inner rim (12) and the outer rim (13) in a tire circumferential direction and configured to connect the rims (12) and (13) to each other, wherein at least a portion of the ring member (14) and the plurality of connecting members (15) are formed of a synthetic resin material having a bending modulus of elasticity obtained through a 3-point bending test pursuant to International Standard ISO 178 of 300 MPa or more, and a breaking strain obtained through a tension test pursuant to International Standard ISO 527-1 and 2 of 3% or more.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wheel rim extender device (1) removably mountable on a wheel (3) having a tire retaining rim (27) for engaging an outer surface of a tire (5). The device (1) has an annular member (11) for location adjacent a sidewall (7) of a tire (5) mounted on the wheel (3). The annular member (11) comprises an edge portion (33a, 33b) which defines an outer circumference of the annular member (11) and a support portion (35a, 35b), disposed radially inward of the edge portion (33a, 33b), for mounting on the wheel (3), wherein the edge portion (33a, 33b) has a greater flexibility than the support portion (35a, 35b). The invention also relates to the combination of a wheel rim extender device (1) and a wheel (3).
Abstract:
Provided is a non-pneumatic tire in which a plurality of curved sections (21d) to (21f) and (22d) to (22f) curved inward in a tire circumferential direction are formed at elastic connecting plates (21) and (22) in an extension direction in which the elastic connecting plates (21) and (22) extend when seen in a tire side view such that curved directions are alternately opposite to each other in the extension direction, outer curved sections (21e) and (22e), inner curved sections (21d) and (22d), and extension sections (21 i), (22i) extending throughout both of the curved sections and in which inflection sections (21g) and (22g) formed between both of the curved sections are disposed, are formed at the elastic connecting plates (21) and (22), and the extension sections (21i) and (22i) extend along reference lines having radii of curvature larger than that of the outer curved sections (21e) and (22e) and the inner curved sections (21d) and (22d) when seen in the tire side view and extend from first end portions (21a) and (22a) of the elastic connecting plates (21) and (22) connected to an outer tubular body (13) to arrive at a central portion in at least the extension direction.
Abstract:
A wheel for a non-motorized vehicle (e.g., a shopping cart) can include a housing assembly and a tread assembly. The housing assembly can be configured to sealingly house electronics or other components. The tread assembly can removably mate with the housing assembly such that the electronics or other components remain closed and/or sealed within the housing assembly when the tread assembly is mated or unmated with the housing assembly.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A wheel and tire assembly for a mobile vehicle is disclosed. The assembly (140, 240) comprises an inner central hub (241); an outer shear band and tread structure mounted on the central hub; and a spoke structure extending between the central hub and the shear band and tread structure, the spoke structure defining a plurality of cavities (111, 244, 246) disposed concentrically about the central hub (241) whereby the cavities (111, 244, 246) allowing the spoke structure to deflect under load.
