An ink jet textile printing recording method including a colored ink attachment step of attaching a liquid droplet of a colored ink composition containing a pigment and an anionic first resin particle to a fabric, a treatment liquid attachment step of attaching a liquid droplet of a treatment liquid containing a polyvalent metal salt to the fabric, and a non-colored ink attachment step of attaching a liquid droplet of a non-colored ink composition containing an anionic second resin particle to the fabric, the colored ink attachment step, in which the treatment liquid attachment step, and the non-colored ink attachment step are performed by an inkjet method, in the inkjet method, main scanning is performed for recording by moving an ink jet head in a direction perpendicular to a transport direction of the fabric, the colored ink composition, the treatment liquid, and the non-colored ink composition are attached to the same scanning region of the fabric by the same main scanning, an attachment amount of the polyvalent metal salt to the fabric is 0.3 (mg/inch2) or more, a content of the second resin particle with respect to a total amount of the non-colored ink composition is higher than a content of the first resin particle with respect to a total amount of the colored ink composition, and an attachment amount of the non-colored ink composition is smaller than an attachment amount of the colored ink composition.

A process for printing on a textile substrate comprising the steps of: (I) preparing an ink comprising the following components: (a) from 1 to 8 parts of a self-dispersible pigment which comprises a carboxy-functional dispersant crosslinked around a pigment core by a crosslinking agent having at least two groups selected from oxetane, carbodiimide, hydrazide, oxazoline, aziridine, isocyanate, N-methylol, keteneimine, isocyanurate and epoxy groups; (b) from 0 to 16 parts of a binder selected from one or more of an acrylic latex binder, a styrene acrylic latex binder and a styrene butadiene latex binder wherein the binder has a Tg in the range of from −25° C. to 35° C.; (c) from 1 to 30 parts of one or more water-miscible organic solvents (d) from 0.1 to 3 parts of a surfactant; (e) from 0 to 5 parts of biocide; (f) from 0 to 10 parts of a viscosity modifier; (g) from 0 to 10 parts of a polyurethane latex binder with a Tg in the range of from −25° C. to 35° C.; (h) from 0 to 6 parts of a cross linking agent; and (i) the balance to 100 parts water: (II) optionally preparing a latex binders solution comprising; i) from 1 to 16 parts of one or more latex binders selected from an acrylic latex binder, a styrene acrylic latex binder and a styrene butadiene latex binder where the latex binder(s) have a Tg in the range of from −25° C. to 35° C.; ii) from 0 to 6 parts of a polyurethane latex binder; and iii) from 0 to 5 parts of a cross linking agent: (III) printing the ink prepared in step (I) on to a textile substrate using a ink jet printer with a single pass print head and optionally pre-printing or overprinting with the latex binder solution from step (II) (IV) curing the printed textile substrate from step (III): provided that if component (b) in the ink prepared in step (a) is 0 then optional step (II) is compulsory. A fabric print medium containing a fabric base substrate and a primer layer composition applied to the fabric base substrate. Said primer layer composition includes at least three types of polymeric particles, at least two different fire retardant agents and a water-soluble high-valence metal complex. Also disclosed are the method for making such fabric print medium and the method for producing printed images using said material.

An inkjet recording method includes a step of forming an image by imparting an actinic ray curable ink composition containing a pigment, a polyfunctional polymerizable compound in which a content ratio to a total polymerization component is 80% by mass or more and a sensitizer in which a molecular weight is 1,000 or more onto a recording substrate which is an aggregate of a nonabsorbable or a low absorbable fiber material from an inkjet head under the conditions in which an amount of ink droplets is from 25 pl to 200 pl and a distance between the recording substrate and the inkjet head is from 5 mm to 20mm, and a step of curing the image by irradiating the formed image with an actinic ray under the conditions in which an oxygen partial pressure is 1.5×10 -2 MPa or less.

The subject invention is related to a method for preparing a reflective film, comprising the steps of: (a) providing a first substrate and forming a releasable adhesive layer thereon; (b) applying reflective particles onto the releasable adhesive layer, where the reflective particles are partially embedded in the releasable adhesive layer; (c) applying a pigment onto the reflective particles and the releasable adhesive layer; (d) removing part of the pigment so that the pigment does not completely cover the reflective particles; and (e) forming a reflective layer on the pigment and the reflective particles. The invention further pertains to a method for manufacturing a reflective article by using the reflective film prepared according to the above-mentioned method.
