Abstract:
A method and apparatus for processing pulp is disclosed including opposed endless wires conveyed in the same direction and defining a web-forming space therebetween for dewatering the web, a pair of perforated dewatering tables supporting the endless wires for pressing the wires towards the web, the first perforated dewatering table ending upstream of the second perforated dewatering table, and a press roll downstream of the back end of the first perforated dewatering table and opposed to the back end of the second perforated dewatering table to form a nip between the press roll and the back end of the second perforated dewatering table, which has a profiled surface that interacts with the press roll to prolong the nip between the press roll and the back end of the second perforated dewatering table.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus (100) for washing and/or dewatering of cellulose pulp, which apparatus (100) comprises a first movable permeable surface (21); a pulp transportation chamber wall (22) and a pulp transportation chamber (25), which pulp transportation chamber (25) has a chamber gap width (Wv) between the pulp transportation chamber wall (22) and the first movable permeable surface (21); and a pulp distribution device (10) comprising an inlet (11) and an outlet (12), which pulp distribution device (10) is arranged to distribute pulp through its outlet (12) onto the first movable permeable surface (21).According to the invention the pulp transportation chamber (25) is provided with a local throttle (31) having a throttle gap width (Wt), near the outlet (12) of the pulp distribution device (10),and in that a second permeable surface (14) for initial dewatering is provided before the local throttle (31).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for controlling the formation of a fiber web of a fiber or paper producing process. The method consists of a plurality of successive individual method steps in which controllable chemical and/or physical sequences or process steps are carried out dependent on measured values, and the materials required for the formation of the fiber web are treated, combined, and/or dewatered in said sequences or process steps, wherein at least some of the measured values are detected inline and directly or indirectly used in order to control the formation. The proposed method is characterized in that at least the manipulated variables, which influence the formation in a relevant manner, of the individual sequences or processes are formed dependent on definable secondary conditions during the entire process.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for conducting water in a machine for producing and/or finishing a paper, cardboard, tissue or other fibrous web having a plurality of machine elements and at least one water circuit (I, II). Here, the outlay for the water conditioning is to be reduced by virtue of the fact that the wastewater (1) with low contamination of at least one machine element is collected separately and is reused in a machine element without being mixed with a wastewater from the water circuit (I, II).
Abstract:
A three-phase separator, for the separation of gases and solids from a three-phase mixture of liquid, gas and solid, comprises an inlet region (12) for the three-phase mixture, an outlet (14) for a fraction enriched in solid, an outlet (16) for liquid a first separator (18) for separating gas from the three-phase mixture with formation of a two-phase mixture containing liquid and solid and a second separator (20), of separating solids from the two-phase mixture formed in the first separator (18), wherein the first separator (18) and the separator (20) each comprise a plate block (22)with a least three parallel plates (24), between which a flow channel (26) is formed, the first separator (18) being designed such that mixture entering through the inlet region (12) is introduced into the at least two flow channels (26), in a downward direction relative to the vertical and the second separator (20) is designed and arranged relative to the first separator (18) such that the two-phase mixture exiting the first separator (18) is introduced into the at least two flow channels (26) of the second separator (20) in an upward direction relative to the vertical and the three-phase separator is designed such that the three-phase mixture can only enter the three-phase separator via the inlet region (12) in the first separator (18).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an arrangement for proportioning thick stock to a short circulation of a fiber web machine. Specifically, the method and the arrangement of the invention relate to treating and proportioning thick stock components of paper making stock having a consistency of the order of 2-12%, preferably 2-5%, for instance into white water one component after another alone or together with an additive.
