The system comprises two or more units (112), wherein each unit (112) comprises a compressive resistant insulating material (104) secured to at least one load bearing element (110), an intermediate insulating material (102) adapted to be located in one or more spaces between said units (112), means (103) for securing the system to the original façade (101). A cross section of the at least one load bearing element (110) has a T-shaped form.

L'invention concerne notamment un montant pour la réalisation de paroi en ossature bois. Ledit élément de construction composite comprend plusieurs couches (5, 6) solidaires entre elles, au moins une des couches, appelée couche résiliente (6), étant constituée d'un matériau résilient et étant intercalée entre deux autres couches de bois (5).

The invention relates to a room-dividing element, in particular for an open-plan office. The aim of the invention is to provide a room-dividing element for an open-plan office that can protect a workspace in particular from acoustic disturbances. In order to achieve the aim, a room-dividing element for an open-plan office having at least one generally horizontally or vertically extending frame element is provided, which is designed as a sound absorber. Such a frame element is located on an open side of a partition of the room-dividing element.

L'invention concerne un procédé de construction d'un bâtiment, notamment parasismique, comprenant une superstructure composée d'éléments de superstructure porteurs et isolés, comprenant chacun au moins un élément porteur solidarisé avec au moins un élément d'isolation. Un tel procédé met en oeuvre une isolation continue, en cocon, de ladite superstructure, grâce aux étapes suivantes : - montage d'un plancher inférieur présentant des moyens d'isolation continue sur sa face intérieure audit bâtiment et se prolongeant par des remontées verticales d'isolation, à la périphérie desdits moyens d'isolation continue ; - assemblage desdits éléments de superstructure, pour former une superstructure porteuse et isolée, les éléments d'isolation étant placés en contact de remontées d'isolation correspondantes, pour former une continuité d'isolation entre ledit plancher inférieur et lesdits éléments de superstructure ; - montage, entre lesdits éléments de superstructure, d'au moins une paroi verticale équipée de moyens d'isolation continue sur sa face intérieure audit bâtiment, reliant les éléments d'isolation des éléments de superstructure entre lesquels elle est montée et placés en contact des remontées d'isolation correspondantes, pour former une continuité d'isolation entre ledit plancher inférieur et lesdites parois verticales; - montage d'un plancher supérieur muni de moyens d'isolation continue sur sa face intérieure audit bâtiment venant en contact avec au moins un desdits éléments d'isolation et desdits moyens d'isolation continue desdites parois verticales, pour former une continuité d'isolation. The invention relates to a room arrangement (20) comprising at least two superposed prefabricated load-bearing room units (1) which have been attached together. The room unit (1) has a ceiling (24), a floor (2), and at least two walls (3, 4, 5, 6), the ceiling (24), floor (2) and walls (3, 4, 5, 6) of a room unit (1) being connected together. Further, the said ceiling, floor and at least two walls are at least mainly of cellular board formed of two substantially parallel surface plates and of a core arranged between them, the core being firmly attached to the surface plates, wherein the surface plates and the core of the cellular board are made of metal. The invention relates also to method of constructing such room arrangement, and its uses.

A structural tie or strap in the form of a connector for use in the construction industry. The connector is substantially rectangular with fixing points at either end for fastening to walls or the like and includes an acoustic attenuation mechanism to enhance acoustic performance between the walls. The acoustic attenuation mechanism is embodied as folds, apertures and/or openings through the connector which prevent direct passage of sound and vibration waves through the connector, between the walls. An embodiment as a party wall strap is described.
