Abstract:
A one-way clutch is arranged between an output shaft of a speed increaser and a drive shaft of a generator in a wind power generator. The one-way clutch includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of rollers arranged between an outer periphery of the inner ring and an inner periphery of the outer ring, a cage (74) that retains the rollers at predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction, and a plurality of elastic members that is attached to the cage and that urges the corresponding rollers in one direction. The cage includes a pair of axially facing annular portions (76) and a plurality of cage bar portions (77) formed separately from the annular portions, both axial end portions of each of the cage bar portions being fitted to the respective annular portions.
Abstract:
Flexibility in design is improved by designing a cage without considering retaining means for rollers. The cage 10 includes a cage body 20 having pockets 23 that are formed by circumferentially adjacent pillar portions 22 to retain rollers and a plurality of roller retainers 40 that are individually formed from the cage body 20 and mounted over the pillar portions 22. The roller retainer 40 has a generally U-shaped cross section by a locking portion 41 that is locked on the outer surface of the pillar portion 22 and two clamping portions 42a, 42b that extend from both edges of the locking portion 41 toward both sides of the pillar portion 22. The clamping portions 42a, 42b elastically clamp the pillar portion 22 by bending convexly toward the pillar portion 22.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a cage for a roller bearing, which cage per se comprises an annular element which defines a plurality of window openings which follow one another in the circumferential direction, are separated from one another by web sections and serve to receive rolling bodies. Furthermore, the invention is also directed at a method for producing a cage of this type. The invention is based on the object of providing window cages for roller bearings, which afford great design freedom with regard to the cage diameter and the rolling-body guidance and can be manufactured efficiently in an inexpensive way. According to the invention, this object is achieved by a window cage having a first carrying ring (1), a second carrying ring (2) and a plurality of cage segments (S) which per se are combined via the two carrying rings to form an annular element, wherein the cage segments (S) are configured as sheet-metal mouldings and are provided in each case with receiving structures, for receiving a circumferential section of the respective carrying ring. As a result, it advantageously becomes possible to provide a window cage for a roller bearing, in which the individual cage segments can be configured such that they are adapted in an optimum manner to the rolling bodies which are to be guided in each case, and said cage segments can be joined together to form an annular element having the respectively required dimensions in a manner which can be controlled satisfactorily in terms of process technology.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rolling bearing cage (1 ) for controlling the position of rolling elements (2) between an inner and an outer raceway in a rolling bearing (3). The rolling bearing cage comprises a cage body comprising a circular first rim portion (4a), a plurality of rib portions (5) extending from the first rim portion (4a), and a plurality of windows (6) formed between adjacent spaced apart rib portions (5) for receiving and controlling the position of the rolling elements (2), wherein the first rim portion (4a) and the plurality of rib portions (5) of the cage body is formed of a one-piece sheet material and is provided with an undulating structure (7). The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a rolling bearing cage.
Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a roller bearing cage suited in particular to a supersized roller bearing, wherein the cage (1A) is configured such that a pair of ring parts (4 and 6) axially separated is connected by a plurality of column parts (5) sliding on an outer peripheral surfaces of rollers (RA), and a plurality of pocket holes (P) is evenly formed in a circumferential direction to store and hold the rollers (RA) at a peripheral wall portion, wherein a base body (2) including one ring part (4) and the column parts (5) with engagement convexes (5A) at leading ends thereof and a connection body (3) including the other ring part (6) with engagement concaves (6A) for engagement with the engagement convexes (5A) of the column parts (5) are set as separate members.
Abstract:
A roller bearing cage has the following features: - at least one web element (14) that has a surface which is to lie directly opposite an external surface of a roller; - said surface comprises a plurality of hull-like macroscopic depressions for holding a lubricant; - the width and/or depth of the depressions (16) decreases towards at least one end in the circumferential direction of the roller; and - several depressions (16), the size of a first group of which decreases essentially towards one of the ends and the size of the second group of which decreases towards the other end, are arranged on the surface.
