A system includes at least one body, a link for suspending the body for movement with gravity from a first elevation position to a second elevation position, and an electrical energy generator coupled with the body through the link to drive the generator to generate electricity upon movement of the body with gravity from the first to the second elevation position. The at least one body has a mass of at least approximately 100 tonnes; the first and the second elevation positions define a distance therebetween of at least approximately 200 meters; and/or the system further includes an operator configured to operate the link to controllably move the at least one body against gravity from the second to the first elevation position to increase a gravitational potential energy of the at least one body, and to maintain the gravitational potential energy of the at least one body.

A spherical-form measuring apparatus includes a turntable 5, a holding unit 10 for holding the sphere 20, and a probe 6 for measuring a contour of a sphere part 22 of the sphere 20. The holding unit 10 includes a base part 12, a vertical holding part 14 and an inclined holding part 16 which are placed at separate positions on the base part 12. The vertical holding part 14 holds the stem part 24 of the sphere 20 with it set in a direction perpendicular to the turntable 5. The inclined holding part 16 holds the stem part 24 with it set in a direction at an angle. The vertical and inclined holding part 14, 16 are disposed such that their axial lines meet at an intersection point P and such that the distance from the point P to the vertical holding part 14 agrees with the distance from the point P to the inclined holding part 16.

When detecting a tolerance of a shape of a measured object having a complicate shape that makes it difficult to perform a continued measurement, a plurality of partial measurement data that are set are retrieved (100). Next, a reference position is set (110) from first partial measurement data. Then, each of the partial measurement data is combined (120) into one data using the reference position. Further, the tolerance is calculated (130) using the combined data.
Abstract:
A position controller provided in a controlling module obtains a difference between a detected rotation angle of a stylus and a target rotation angle, and determines an energization amount to a voice coil motor so that the difference becomes zero. A variable limited circuit limits a driving current, which is supplied from the position controller, to a limitation value so that a rotation force applied to the stylus from the voice coil motor is constant. A target rotation angle issuing portion switches over the target rotation angle based on a relative position of a contact portion of the stylus.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zur Überprüfung der Maß-, Lage- und Formtoleranzen eines einen ventilsitz (5) aufweisenden Werkstückes, insbesondere eines Zylinderkopfes, bestehend aus einem auf den Ventilsitz (5) aufsetzbaren und in der Ventilschaftbohrung zentrierbaren Messkopf (2) mit mindestens einem über einen vorgebbaren Weg bewegbaren Messtaster (13a, 13b)und einer die ermittelten Messwerte erfassenden, elektronischen AuswertEinrichtung. Um mit einer baukastenmäßig zusammengestellten und aufgebauten Vorrichtung einfach und preiswert sowohl von Hand als auch von einer maschinellen Einrichtung auch bei räumlichen engen Verhältnissen alle relevanten Maß-, Lage- und Formtoleranzen im Fertigungsbereich kontrollieren zu können, ist mindestens ein Messtaster (13a/13b) in einem schwenkbar im Grundkörper (3) des Messkopfes (2) gelagerten Schwenkkörper (8) angeordnet und an den Konturflächen des Ventilsitzes (5) zum Anliegen bringbar und dem Schwenkkörper (8) sind ein Stellantrieb (19) und ein die Größe der Schwenkbewegung kontrollierendes, ebenfalls an die Auswert-Einrichtung angeschlossenes Messgerät (23) zugeordnet ( Fig. 1 ).

A detector 4 includes a stylus 41, a holding portion 42 that holds a proximal end portion of the stylus 41, a body portion 43 that supports the holding portion 42 rotatably about a rotational axis, and a sensor 44 that detects a rotational displacement of the holding portion 42. The holding portion 42 includes an abutting member 421, on which the proximal end portion of the stylus 41 abuts, and a plate spring 422 that biases the proximal end portion of the stylus 41 against the abutting member 421. The abutting member 421 includes a groove portion 424A on which the proximal end portion of the stylus 41 abuts, and a semispherical portion 425A that extends toward the plate spring 422, compared with a bottom of the groove portion 424A. The stylus 41 includes a proximal end inclined portion 412 at the proximal end portion of the stylus 41. The proximal end inclined portion 412 is inclined toward the plate spring 422, with a decreasing distance from the rotational axis.

Bei einem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren zur Messung der Form eines Werkstückes werden mittels eines Meßtasters Meßwerte erfaßt, die die Form eines Werkstücks repräsentieren. Anhand der Meßwerte wird in einem iterativen Verfahren die Form des Werkstücks ermittelt.
