    摘要: Disclosed is a rattrap usable for fighting rats where these occur at large numbers, e.g. in sewer systems. The trap is mounted in an elevated position and has a hanging climbing rope (12) leading up to a delivery area (20) for an allurement. When a visiting rat gets its nose up to this area, this approach is automatically detected, and a beater jaw (8) is actuated against the neck portion of the animal. The animal is removed from the area simply by falling down therefrom, whereafter the trap is ready for the next operation. The supplies of the allurement and the capacity of the associated energy sources (battery, CO2-bottle) may be sufficient for unattended operation through such a long time, e.g. some months, that the trap may in the meantime execute hundreds of rats.
