摘要: A method and apparatus for decontaminating substantially enclosed environments by using ultrasonic cavitation of a cleaning fluid to produce a low pressure, low air flow mist that can be activated by a nonthermal plasma actuator to create a cloud of activated hydroxyl species with the capacity to decontaminate articles, open surfaces or substantially enclosed spaces of pathogens, including bacteria, and other pathogenic microorganisms. An automated system and related non-transitory computer medium are also disclosed.

摘要: Disclosed herein are an air cleaning and disinfection robot and a method of operating the same. The air cleaning and disinfection robot includes a driving unit configured to move autonomously in a target space, a plurality of air conditioning modules configured to manage air quality in the target space and detachably provided on the driving unit, a station on which the plurality of air conditioning modules are mounted, a docking unit configured to couple and separate the driving unit and each of the air conditioning modules to and from each other, and a detection unit configured to detect an operation environment of the target space, wherein the driving unit, based on information obtained by the detection unit, may selectively couple to and move with any one of the plurality of air conditioning modules.

摘要: A microfluidic delivery device and method of dispensing a fluid composition therefrom is provided. The microfluidic delivery device includes a housing electrically connectable with a power source; a cartridge releasably connectable with the housing; and a fan connected with the housing. The cartridge has a reservoir for containing a fluid composition and microfluidic die in fluid communication with the reservoir. The die is configured such that substantially all of the fluid composition exits the microfluidic die in a horizontal direction or downward direction relative to horizontal. The fan is configured to generate air flow that converges with and redirects the fluid composition dispensed from the microfluidic die in an upward direction relative to horizontal.

摘要: The current invention relates to a method for disinfecting a room with chlorine dioxide gas, comprising the steps: measuring the humidity of the air in the room; generating chlorine dioxide from a liquid in a reaction cell; releasing said chlorine dioxide from said liquid; transferring the released chlorine dioxide to the room; measuring the concentration chlorine dioxide gas in the room; and maintaining a constant chlorine dioxide concentration in the air in the room for a defined exposure time, wherein, during the defined exposure time the relative humidity (RH) in the room is kept constant at a predetermined RH between 20% and 80%. The invention also relates to a device for disinfecting a room with chlorine dioxide.
