    摘要： A snake-like robot includes a first link having a first distal end, a first proximal end, and a first longitudinal axis extending between the first distal end and the first proximal end. A second link has a second proximal end, a second distal end operatively coupled to the first proximal end, and a second longitudinal axis extending between the second proximal end and the second distal end. Rotation of the first link relative to the second link alternatively performs the following effects: elongation of the robot; pivoting of the first longitudinal axis relative to the second longitudinal axis; and rotation of the first longitudinal axis relative to the second longitudinal axis.

    摘要： A right angle drive is provided. The right angle drive includes an input shaft, an output shaft, a housing a pair of input shaft bearings and a pair of output shaft bearings. The input shaft carries an input gear for rotation about an input axis. The output shaft carries an output gear for rotation about an output axis. The input and output gears are coupled to transfer rotational motion therebetween. The input and output axis being non-parallel to one another. The pair of input shaft bearings carry the input shaft within the housing for rotation about the input axis. One bearing is on either side of the input gear. The pair of output shaft bearings carry the output shaft within the housing for rotation about the output axis. One bearing is on either side of the input gear. The bearings may interlock with one another.

[Solution] In a drilling work device that forms the hole 70 in the workpiece 50 having forming layers 51 to 56 divided by the materials of different qualities, working object layer determining means determines the working object layers 51a to 56a in order of drilling work based on start of drilling work and variation in the load torque applied to the drill 4, working condition deciding means decides a set working spindle speed and a set working feeding speed corresponding to forming materials of the respective working object layers 51a to 56a, and drive controlling means controls a spindle motor and a feeding motor so that the drill 4 forms the hole 70 at the set working spindle speed and the set working feeding speed.
