    摘要： A lid (80) for large size industrial or commercial solid waste containers is mounted to the upper rear edge of the container (70) by single or double linkages (94, 94') that permit the lid to hang down close to the rear of the container, to reduce the front to rear extent of the assembly when the lid is fully open. A plurality of prop lugs (104a, b, c) are formed on the underside of the lid and aligned with a rear edge banding which forms a fulcrum support for the prop lugs when the lid is in an intermediate open position.

    摘要： This casing comprises an outer body (1) and an inner body (2) of tubular cylindrical configuration, coaxially assembled with relative rotational capability and laterally having respective windows (11, 21) which are arranged in an angularly offset manner in the closed position of the casing and facing one another in the opened position, allowing in this opened position access to the replacement lamps (4) and fuses placed in an inner pad. The outer body (2) is closed by the base (22) corresponding to one of the ends of the casing defining an end grip portion (23), and the inner body (1) is closed by the base (12) corresponding to the other end of the casing, defining a grip area (13). The bodies (1 and 2) have coupling means (15, 25) for the guiding thereof towards the opened and closed positions.

    摘要： An ambidextrous lid assembly that allows a lid to be opened from either side of a compartment is disclosed. The lid assembly includes at least a first frame member adapted to be pivotally attached proximate the compartment opening. The first frame member has an opening that allows access therethrough to at least a portion of the interior of the compartment when the first frame member is closed against the perimeter of the compartment opening. The lid assembly includes a second frame member that is pivotally attached to the first frame member and either by itself or in cooperation with a lid cover provides a closure for the opening in the first frame member. The first frame member carries a latch for securing it about the opening, and the second frame member carries a latch for securing it to the first frame member.

The hinge member (20) allows the base member (18) and cover member (16) to pivot between a coplanar open position and an overlapping closed position. A tray member (14) is also included that has a proximal end (96), and distal end (94), a disc receiving portion (98) disposed adjacent to the proximal end (96), and a raised platform portion (182). The raised platform portion (182) is disposed adjacent to the distal end (99). The tray member (14) is sized and shaped for being received by the base member (18) such that when the case member (10) is in the open position, the disc receiving portion (98) and the raised platform (182) of the tray member (14) are accessible, and when the case member (10) is in the closed position, the disc receiving portion (98) is covered by the cover member (16).
