The methods include supplying a glass ribbon in a first direction and redirecting the glass ribbon to a second direction different from the first direction without contacting the glass ribbon with a solid material. The glass ribbon may exhibit a viscosity of less than about 108 Poise and a thickness of about 1 mm or less. Embodiments of a glass or glass-ceramic forming apparatus are also disclosed. The apparatus may include a glass feed device for supplying a glass ribbon in a first direction and a redirection system disposed underneath the glass feed device for redirecting the glass ribbon to a second direction. In one or more embodiments, the redirection system comprising at least one gas bearing system for supplying a gas film to support the glass ribbon.

    摘要: The invention relates to a guide roller comprising a bearing journal (13) at each of two ends. Each bearing journal is provided with a plain bearing (14), which is designed as a hollow journal, and can be connected to the coolant supply line in order to conduct a coolant through the hollow journal into the coolant channel (12) or to conduct the coolant out of the coolant channel. The plain bearing (14) is lubricated by the coolant that is conducted through the bearing journal (13) designed as a hollow journal. A roller assembly for a strand casting system is provided with a plurality of said guide rollers (1). The guide rollers are arranged at an axial distance from each other along a strand (2) produced by the strand casting system and are each rotatably supported in a respective bearing mount (3).     摘要: The invention relates to a method of longitudinally deflecting conveyor rolls intended for bending glass panels. The method includes deflecting the conveyor rolls during a glass-panel bending process by turning link member on which the ends of the conveyor rolls are mounted with bearings. In order to turn the link members of each conveyor roll, at least one link member is subjected to a force sufficient for its turning by a position-identifying electric drive. At least the other link member is subjected to a force sufficient for its turning by a second electric drive, which is controlled on the basis of position data provided by the position-identifying electric drive.     摘要: The invention concerns an apparatus allowing the bending of a glass pane, in such a way to have a even locally uniform bending radius. The apparatus comprises upper links (210) and lower links (310) between which a glass pane to be bend is positioned, at a suitable temperature as in the prior art. Below the lower links (310) a common axle (420) is placed, which put into rotation pinions (340) provided to each link (310). The pinion (340) makes a screw rotating and therefore vary the distance of contrast means (370,380) which abut on suitable stops (291) of the subsequent inner link, so as to adjust the maximum distance of the links (310) during the bending. The adjustment is obtained before the bending and is uniform because it is made concurrently and to the same extent on all the contrast elements of all the links. The invention further concerns an apparatus for bending a glass pane, with dynamical adjustment of the glass pane thickness.
