Pour empecher la mise en rotation de la bobine lors d'une exploitation normale et pour eviter la creation de balourds endommageant ou detruisant la machine lors d'une panne, il est propose une toronneuse rapide dont le centre de gravite se trouve sur l'axe de rotation et dans laquelle un balourd est relie a la bobine; ce balourd consiste en un contre-poids (7) independant et mobile autour de l'axe de rotation; lors du depassement d'un couple de rotation determine, ce balourd peut etre desaccouple de la bobine (4).

There are provided a holding strap, methods of making the same, and methods using such holding strap for tying down objects on a flatbed of a vehicle, retaining underground tanks, or lifting electrodes out of an electrolytic cell. The holding strap includes a chemically pre-treated strap component, an epoxy resin chemically bonded to the pre-treated strap component, and a hook component comprising a cavity that is configured and sized to receive at least a portion of the strap component, the epoxy resin being chemically bonded to internal surfaces of the cavity, so as to form the holding strap.

A rotating movable body for a wire rope includes a rotating portion through the interior of which a wire rope passes, the wire rope being formed by twisting together eight strands, and rotary plates provided on the rotating portion so as to engage with parts of the outer shape of the wire rope, wherein the rotary plates are arranged at a predetermined interval in the extension direction of the wire rope, and in a state where each of the plurality of strands is in contact with one of the rotary plates, the rotating portion moves in the extension direction of the wire rope and rotates so as to follow the twist of the strands.

A cable is formed comprising a filiform core (2) and at least one outer ring of wires (3, 4) arranged around the core in an array constituted, in alternating sequence, by first wires (3) and second wires (4) having a greater diameter than the first wires. The cable thus formed is then subjected to radial compression carried out, for example, by means of hammering, which causes plastic deformation of the second wires (4) until a cylindrical filiform element (1) of substantially constant diameter is obtained, from the cable. The preferred application is in the manufacture of transmission elements for flexible control cables intended to operate in tension and, particularly, in compression.
