    摘要: A cutting device for engaging a rock face, a cutting head and a method of servicing a cutting device for a mining machine are disclosed. The cutting device may include a plurality of cutting portions supported on a disc body, each cutting portion including a plurality of cutting bits positioned along a peripheral edge. The method e.g. comprises: uncoupling one of the cutting portions from the disc body; and securing a replacement cutting portion to the disc body in a position previously occupied by the one cutting portion such that the replacement cutting portion is secured against movement relative to the disc body, the replacement cutting portion engaging a planar surface of the disc body that is oriented at an oblique angle with respect to an axis of rotation of the disc body.

Nach der Erfindung wird die Fräsvorrichtung nach dem Absetzen auf dem Gewässergrund in eine im Wesentlichen horizontale Position gebracht und ausgerichtet, mit der mindestens einen Fräseinheit wird eine im Wesentlichen horizontale, ebene Anfangsfläche gebildet, wobei die mindestens eine Fräseinheit im Wesentlichen vertikal entlang der Linearführungseinrichtung zum Abfräsen von Bodenmaterial in den Boden eingebracht wird, die Fräsvorrichtung wird auf die gebildete Anfangsfläche bewegt und ausgehend von der ebenen Anfangsfläche wird durch vertikales Verschieben der Fräseinheit in den Boden und horizontales Verschieben des Trägergerätes Boden abgetragen.
