摘要: The present invention provides a torque transfer apparatus 10 comprising a dual mass flywheel 14, a multi-plate dry friction clutch 18 rotatably coupled to the dual mass flywheel, and a centrifugal pendulum absorber 16 coupled to one or both of the dual mass flywheel and the clutch. The clutch is engageable to selectively rotationally couple an input 13a of the torque transfer apparatus to an output 13b of the torque transfer apparatus to selectively transfer torque through the torque transfer apparatus. The centrifugal pendulum absorber 16 may be disposed radially outward and circumferentially around the clutch. The clutch may be engageable so that the travel distance between an engaged position and a disengaged position is less than 6mm, or optionally about 2mm. The dual mass flywheel may be a planetary flywheel and the apparatus may be used in a vehicle drivetrain that comprises a second torque path in which a second prime mover such as an electric machine (22 fig. 4) may provide torque to the drivetrain.
