    摘要： An actuator latch system of a hard disk drive (HDD) retains a rotatable swing arm (132) of the HDD in place when a magnetic head of the HDD is parked. The actuator latch system includes a portion of the swing arm that defines a notch (152) at an end portion of a swing arm, and a latch lever (160) that has at least one main hook (162a,b) and a rebound hook (162c), and an elastic buffering arm (171). The latch lever is disposed on the base member adjacent the end portion of the swing arm and is supported so as to be rotatable. The at least one main hook prevents the swing arm from initially rotating in one direction beyond a certain point, and the rebound hook prevents the swing arm from rotating beyond a certain point after the swing arm rebounds upon colliding with the at least one main hook.

    摘要： In a plate insert type lamp (1) having a resin lamp body (2) and a metal reinforcement plate (12) buried in the lamp body (2) by insert molding, a breakage prevention structure of the lamp being capable of suppressing the occurrence of breakage in a resin near the peripheral edge part of the plate (12) due to heat shrinkage without increasing the wall thickness of the resin near the peripheral edge part of the plate (12) or without reducing the thickness of the plate (12). A part or all of the peripheral edge parts (12a), (12b), (12c), and (12d) of the reinforcement plate (12) are exposed from the lamp body (2) to the front surface beforehand to prevent the resin near the peripheral edge parts (12a), (12b), (12c), and (12d) of the reinforcement plate (12) from being broken due to heat shrinkage. The portions of the plate to be exposed are clearance portions (8) between a plurality of disk insertion parts (4) formed at one of four sides of the lamp body (2) and/or the peripheral edge parts of the lamp body (2) at its other three sides.

    摘要： A hard disk drive with an actuator latch is provided. The actuator latch includes: a locking protrusion installed at the actuator; a latch member rotatably installed on the basis of a predetermined rotation axis, the latch member for rotating with the rotation of the actuator when the magnetic head is parked so that a hook intercepts the locking protrusion and prevents it from moving in an opposite direction to a parking side; and a latch member driving means including a lever installed at the latch member to be joined with a yoke of the voice coil motor by a magnetic force when intercepting the moving path of the locking protrusion and a coil for forming the same polarity as the yoke with current supplied by a power supply installed at the level, the latch member driving means for rotating the latch member to set free the interception of the movement path of the locking protrusion by the hook. In the above structure, the latch member selectively intercepts the movement of the locking protrusion at the actuator so that the actuator is locked and unlocked. As a result, the actuator can keep strongly locked and be softly unlocked without any impact.
