    摘要: An aspect of the present invention relates to an underwater electrical connection arrangement (3) for a floating offshore structure (100), in particular for a floating wind turbine (1), comprising at least one electrical cable (32) and a water tight cladding tube (31) in that the electrical cable (32) is received, so that a cavity (33) remains inside the cladding tube (31). The cladding tube (31) is designated to be fixed to the floating offshore structure (100) and to follow a trajectory from the floating offshore structure (100) towards a seabed (5). The cladding tube (31) is designated to be at least partially immersed in water, in particular sea water, in an intended state of use of the underwater electrical connection arrangement (3). The cavity (33) is at least partly filled with a first medium (34) having a lower density than the water, in particular sea water, in that the cladding tube (31) is immersed in the intended state of use, so that, in the intended state of use, an at least local uplift force is created.
    The underwater electrical connection arrangement is more robust, cheaper and easier to install than current underwater electrical connection arrangements.
