    摘要: To determine a cell for usage in wireless communication, a signal-to-noise ratio or a signal-to-power ratio can be used in selecting an appropriate cell. However, cell selection can also configure to take both signal-to-noise ratio and signal-to-power ratio into account. Multiple available cells can be analyzed and a highest ranking cell can be selected through balancing the aforementioned ratios. In addition, to minimize transferring between cells, a limitation can be placed such that a cell is not left unless there is better of both the aforementioned ratios at another cell.

    摘要: This application provides an antenna, an antenna control method, and a terminal. The antenna includes an antenna body and an antenna branch, where one end of the antenna branch is connected to the antenna body, the other end is connected to a feedpoint of a primary radio frequency channel, and the end of the antenna branch that is connected to the feedpoint of the primary radio frequency channel is further connected to the antenna body through a first adjustable device, where the first adjustable device is in an on state or an off state. An antenna branch is connected between the feedpoint of the primary radio frequency channel and the antenna body, and the antenna branch can be connected or disconnected by switching on or off the first adjustable device, thereby ensuring good performance of the terminal in beside-head-and-hand-left and beside-head-and-hand-right statuses.

    摘要: A modem testing system is provided for testing interoperability of plural items of customer premises equipment (CPEs) (10) and plural central offices (COs) (60). The modem testing system includes a line simulator (50), a switch (40), and a controller (30). The line simulator is connected to the CPEs and COs for simulating various types of lines and noise statuses. The switch is connected to the line simulator, the CPEs, and the COs for switching connections between the CPEs and the COs. The controller is connected to the line simulator, the switch, the CPEs, and the COs for controlling the switch to set up communications between the CPEs and the COs according to a mapping list, and controlling the line simulator to simulate various types of lines and noises statuses. An exemplary modem testing method is also provided.
