    Abstract: A method by which a first device performs wireless communication is provided. The method may comprise the steps of: acquiring a sidelink (SL) discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration; acquiring a channel occupancy time (COT) on the basis of type 1 listen before talk (LBT); receiving first sidelink control information (SCI) for scheduling of second SCI and a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) via a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) within an active time; and receiving the second SCI and data via the PSSCH within the active time, wherein the SL DRX configuration may include at least one of an SL DRX onduration timer, an SL DRX inactivity timer, an SL DRX retransmission timer, and an SL DRX hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round trip time (RTT) timer, at least one of a time at which the SL DRX onduration timer is running, a time at which the SL DRX inactivity timer is running, and a time at which the SL DRX retransmission timer is running may be included in the active time of the first device, and the COT may be included in the active time of the first device.

    Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure belong to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a sidelink communication method and apparatus. The sidelink communication method is applied to a terminal device, and comprises: determining whether a continuous LBT failure is triggered on a sidelink sending resource of a shared frequency; and when the continuous LBT failure is triggered, reporting a failure indication to a network device or determining a backup sidelink sending resource, so as to send a sidelink message. Therefore, a terminal device can send data in a timely manner when LBT fails, thus avoiding data loss and increasing the communication reliability.
