Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce overhead in responding to an ACK/NACK message, in a multiple access system applied to a packet re-transmission mechanism such as an ARQ. SOLUTION: This method is equipped with: reception of data representing ACK or data representing NACK; measurement of quality of the received data; determination of whether a channel is degraded by using the quality measurement value of the received data as a function; neglect of the received data representing ACK or data representing NACK when the channel is determined to be degraded; and transmission of a message representing stop of transmission of the data representing ACK and/or the data representing NACK when the channel degradation is determined and the response to the received data is issued. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving a probability to make successful reception and decoding of next retransmission by performing adaptation on a failure reason of previous transmission. SOLUTION: A data packet comprising a first number of bits encoded over a first number of symbols is transmitted to a receiver. If the receiver did not successfully decode the data packet, a negative receipt acknowledgement message is received along with metric information for the transmission. The data packet encoded with a varying number of symbols is transmitted to the receiver, wherein the varying number of symbols is a function of the metric information for the first transmission. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus of a turbo-coding which is unnecessary to retransmit overall whole packet of L-bit, when a packet causes an error. SOLUTION: In addition to a pair of coding bit prepared using a turbo-coding system, a pair of punctured coding bits are prepared to be memorized in a memory of a transmitter. A pair of the former coding bit is transmitted to a receiver as a an L-bit data packet, and the receiver stores a received data sample correspondent to a pair of the coding bit. The receiver determines whether it is a data packet having an error. If it is so, additional information is requested. The punctured information is transmitted from the transmitter to receiver. A new data sample is combined with the stored former data sample received. Regarding this point, although the possibility that the decoding becoming correct is high, however, a decoding in additional step can be used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
In a digital signal transmission method according to the present invention, when N1 is the number of code multiplexes of a first transmit block including an information bit and part of a parity bit, and N2 is the number of code multiplexes of a subsequent transmit block including the remaining parity bit, a spread multiplexer 104 performs spread multiplexing of each block in a relationship of N1>N2.
