Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detecting device capable of accurately detecting a height of a liquid level.SOLUTION: A fuel level gauge 100 for detecting a height of a liquid level 91a of fuel 91 stored in a fuel tank 90 includes: a housing 20 fixed to the fuel tank 90; an arm holder 30 supported by the housing 20 in a relatively rotatable manner; a float 60 floating on the liquid level 91a; a conductive float arm 50 which holds the float 60, is rotatably supported by the housing 20, and is adapted to convert up-and-down movement of the float 60 into rotational movement of the arm holder 30; a detection circuit 40a which has a variable resistor 41 whose electric resistance value is changed in accordance with a rotation angle of the arm holder 30 and is adapted to detect the height of the liquid level 91a based on the electric resistance value of the variable resistor 41; a ground terminal 76 for grounding the detection circuit 40a; and a conductive part 25 for connecting the float arm 50 to the ground terminal 76.
