Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrical apparatus which can certainly prevent that liquid which has permeated into a resin material reaches an electronic component. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing process of a casing 20, or in a securement process which conserves a subassembly S in a mold 200 in detail, a seal component 60 is compressed in the direction of the whole circumference thereof by each of molds 201-204, and thereby the manufacturing of the electrical apparatus which maintains the state that seal the component 60 is compressed by the casing 20 in the perfection state of a body 10 is enabled. Herewith, when the a fuel level gauge 100 is used, at the time of the state that the body 10 is immersed into a fuel F, the fuel F is certainly prevented from permeating into the casing 20 from between seal component 60 and the casing 20 and between the seal component 60 and a terminal 40. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector for preventing its arm from coming off, without impairing the assemblability of the arm. SOLUTION: This liquid level detector 1 is equipped with a float 2, a holder 4, and the arm 3 for changing the vertical motion of the float into the rotating motion of the holder 4 with the float 2 connected to the holder 4. The holder 4 is equipped with a hold part 42 for fixing the arm 3, and a hook 44 and a stopper 45 for preventing the arm from coming off from the hold part 42. The hook 44 is structured so that it is elastically deformed in first directions B1 and B2, and in second directions C1 and C2. The stopper 45 is structured so as not to inhibit the hook 44 from being deformed elastically in the first directions B1 and B2, and so as to inhibit the hook 44 from being deformed elastically in the first directions B1 and B2, when it is elastically deformed in the second directions C1 and C2. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector with excellent attaching workability onto a container side member of the liquid level detector. SOLUTION: A terminal 8 of a body 3 is brought into press contact with a terminal 14 of a fuel pump holder 12 to maintain electric continuity concurrently in engagement of the body 3 with a holding part 13 of the fuel pump holder 12, when a fuel level gage 1 is fixed to the fuel pump holder 12. The fixation and electric connection work requiring two processes in a conventional liquid level detector is thereby finished by one process, to provide the fuel level gage 1 with excellent attaching workability onto the fuel pump holder 12. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector capable of outputting precise detection information corresponding to a liquid level. SOLUTION: The liquid level detector includes: a housing 20 which has a wire drawing groove part 26 and is fixed to a fuel pump module 93 in a fuel tank 90; integral elements 30, 50 and 60 which are supported by the housing 20 and displaced in response to the liquid level 91a; a detection circuit section 40 which has a terminal 41 projecting to the wire drawing groove part 26 side in the housing 20 and detects displacements of the integral elements 30, 50 and 60; and a flexible interconnecting wire 70 which is connected to the terminal 41, is drawn out of the housing 20 through the wire drawing groove part 26, and transmits the detection information of the detection circuit section 40. In a fuel level gage 100 for detecting the liquid level 91a, the housing 20 is characterized by including the bottom 27 which faces a wall surface and where the wire drawing groove part 26 is opened on the wall surface side, and further including a wire retreating groove part 28 so as to be adjacent to the wire drawing groove part 26. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector capable of reducing the size and cost by reducing the frictional force acting between a resistance element and a contact. SOLUTION: A contact member 7 for conducting an arm member 6 with an electrode part 5b of the resistance element 5 is formed on a disk having a through hole 7a. The contact member 7 is held by the arm member 6 so that the through hole 7a is engaged with the arm member 6 and the arm member 6 can be rotated as a rotation shaft. Thus, the arm member 6 rotates according to variation of the position of liquid level 17a, the contact member 7 rolls on the electrode part 5b while conducting with the electrode part 5b of the resistance element 5. Thus, the frictional force acting on a contact part between the contact member 7 and the resistance element 5 can be reduced. Therefore, the physical size of a magnet 8 can be miniaturized, or the magnet 8 can be formed of inexpensive magnet of a magnetic flux density smaller than that of a conventional liquid level detector, namely small maximum energy product. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector capable of reducing rotational resistance force between a magnet holder and a body at an engagement part thereof. SOLUTION: Three protrusions 22 are provided on an inner circumferential surface of a hole 21 of the magnet holder 2. The tips of the protrusions 22 and a shaft part 31 of the body 3 are brought into contact with each other to constitute a bearing structure. The contact parts between the protrusions 22 and the shaft part 31, namely the parts disposed opposite each other with a necessary minimum gap therebetween to allow rotation are linear, and the protrusions 22 and the shaft part 31 are brought into line contact each other. Accordingly, the area of the contact parts therebetween is extremely reduced than that of a conventional liquid level detector, thereby extremely reducing the rotational resistance force acting on the contact parts therebetween. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector capable of precisely detecting a liquid level position by suppressing tilting of a rotating member with respect to a shaft section of a fixing member. SOLUTION: A flange section 2g is disposed on the outer peripheral surface of a magnet holder 2, a body 3 is provided with a guide section 3e in the axial direction of the shaft section 3a so that it can abut on the flange section 2g of the magnet holder 2, and the size of a clearance S in the axial direction of the shaft section 3a formed between the guide section 3e and flange section 2g is set to be smaller than the displacement caused in a regulation section 2g by engagement clearance between the shaft section 3a and a hole section 2a in the range where smooth rotation of the magnet holder 2 is secured without certain contact of the guide section 3e with the flange section 2g. Thus, it is suppressed that the flange section 2g abuts on the guide section 3e and the magnet holder 2 rotates about the axis orthogonal to the center axis C of the shaft section 3a, so that a fuel level gauge 1 capable of precisely detecting the liquid level position can be provided. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection device capable of suppressing entrance of foreign matter in liquid into a gap between a through hole of a fixing member and a shaft part. SOLUTION: Inflow of foreign matter included in a fuel 12 into an internal space of the through-hole 2a and entrance thereof into the gap between the through hole 2a and the shaft part 3a can be suppressed by providing a cover 4. Consequently, a fuel level gage 1 capable of guaranteeing smooth rotation of a magnet holder 2 can be provided. Since a constitution is adopted, wherein the cover 4 is sandwiched between an arm 6 and the magnet holder 2 and fixed to the magnet holder 2, a fixing structure of the cover 4 can be simplified, and assembly man-hours for the fuel level gage 1 can be reduced.
