SOLUTION: In this artificial lawn laying structure, a first artificial lawn is laid on a base layer, a first filling layer having a thickness equal to the height of implanted turf up to the generally upper end is provided in the first artificial lawn, and a second artificial lawn which has a second filling layer formed thicker than the first filling layer is laid on the first artificial lawn. Since the second filling layer provided to the second artificial lawn is formed thicker than the first filling layer, the insertion of a gear for throwing event is stopped by the second filling layer even if a throwing event such as javelin is performed. Even if the gear for throwing event penetrates into the second artificial lawn, the gear for throwing event can be stopped by the first filling layer.
