Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve economics of fuel and traveling performance of a vehicle by obtaining a speed change step, with large ratio of speed change required for starting, by means of a gear type speed change mechanism and also obtaining steplessly a speed change step on the high speed side by means of a belt type stepless speed change mechanism. CONSTITUTION:At the starting time of a vehicle, a driven gear 8 for advance is connected to an output shaft 7 by means of a dog clutch 11, and a clutch 1 is connected thereto subsequently. Then, turning effort of an internal-combustion engine 100 is transmitted to the output shaft 7 with the comparatively large ratio of speed change determined by a driving gear 5 and the driven gear 8. Upshift after the starting is performed through supply of oil pressure into an oil pressure chamber 3 to put a clutch 20 in connection and the clutch 1 in separation and subsequent transmission of the turning effort of the engine 10 to a belt type stepless speed change gear 25. Said change gear 25 is formed such that the ratio of speed change is continuously reduced by increase in the effective pulley diameter of an output pulley 27 following decrease in the effective pulley diameter of an input pulley 26.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a temperature rise in a stator coil of a motor generator by partitioning/forming a cooling medium passage by/of the stator coil, a housing and partition members, connecting its cooling medium passage to a cooling medium supply source, and supplying a cooling medium to the cooling medium passage from the cooling medium supply source. SOLUTION: A housing 11 is fixed to one of an internal combustion engine or a transmission, and a fixing part 32 and a support part 35 being partition members extending from an inner peripheral wall surface of its housing 11 are brought into contact with an outer peripheral wall surface of a stator coil 51, and a cooling oil passage 53 as a cooling medium passage is partitioned by and formed of a stator coil 51, a stator core 50, the housing 11, the fixing part 32 and the support part 35. Its cooling oil passage 53 is connected to an oil pump 24 being a cooling medium supply source, and a cooling medium is supplied to the cooling oil passage 53 from the oil pump 24. Therefore, a temperature rise in the stator coil 51 of a motor generator 10 can be restrained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To transmit high torque by providing facing V grooves axially at a first shaft member and a second member with a fitting hole so as to form a longitudinal space with a rectangular cross section and fitting a cylindrical rolling body in the state of being clamped by the facing surfaces, thereby allowing its axial motion. CONSTITUTION:A first V groove 72 is axially formed at the peripheral surface of a rotatably supported output shaft 34, and also at the inner surface of a fitting hole 74 piercing through the center of a rotating movable body 38, a second V groove 76 is formed in the parallel direction to the shaft. A pair of inner wall surfaces 72a, 72b of the first V groove and a pair of inner wall surfaces 76a, 76b make right angles to each other respectively with the same dimension in width so as to form a longitudinal space with a square cross section. A roller 38b rolls in the state of being clamped by the inner wall surfaces 72b, 76b, allows the axial motion of the rotating movable body 38 and transmits high torque in the rotating direction. The cross section of the longitudinal space can be made rectangular as well as the number of rollers can be chosen according to the direction and largeness of torque.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the large diameter head section of a pin for reducing the cost of the pin by providing a stopper plate for the link plate connecting pin of a chain to stop the movement of the pin to the opposite side of another chain between a V block through hole and a link plate. CONSTITUTION:The movement of a pin 36 connecting the link plate 34 of the first chain 38 to the opposite side of the second chain 40 in the axial direction and the movement of the pin 36 connecting the link plate 34 of the second chain 40 to the opposite side of the first chain 38 in the axial direction are to be prevented. For this purpose a stopper plate 70 is mounted on a chain belt 10 being inserted between the internal wall face of the through hole 42 of a V block 48 and the link plate 34. In this constitution the movement of the pin 36 in the left direction and the right direction are prevented by the stopper plate 70 and the supporting section 60 of the block 48 respectively. Since this prevents even the pin 36 to which any large diameter head section is not formed from being extracted, the pin 36 of a low cost can be used, and as a result, the chain belt 10 can be manufactured at a low cost.

The link member 70 has cylindrical faces for housing the connecting pins 80 on its both end parts 71, 72, while its middle part 73 has a cocoon shape with its both side parts being mutually inwardly curved and is formed with an endless strip made of highly strong steel and having flexibility.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve positioning of engaging hole and projection by forming an engaging hole of power transmission block with a through-hole while forming an engaging projection with a pin fitted in said hole. CONSTITUTION:A through-hole 30 is made in the center of the upper body 14 of power transmission block 10 and fitted with a pin 32 while partially projecting. The portion of the through-hole 30 not fitted with the pin 32 is formed into an engaging hole 20 while the head section 32b of pin projecting to the outside is formed as an engaging projection 22. Abstract: PURPOSE:To enlarge the range of speed change ratio of a stepless speed change gear, by providing a low gear pair and high gear pair between the output shaft of a belt-driven stepless speed change gear and another output shaft arranged in parallel with said output shaft. CONSTITUTION:The clutch 24 is released when starting or travelling with low speed. Consequently the power is transmitted from the first output shaft 13 through first gear 17 in a low gear pair 25, third gear 21 and first oneway clutch 20 to the second output shaft 19. Consequently the speed is dropped lower than the case where only stepless speed change gear 3 is employed. Upon increase of car speed, the clutch 22 is fastened to fix the fourth gear 22 to the second output shaft 19. Consequently the power is transmitted from the first output shaft 13 to the second and fourth gears 18, 22 thus to rotate the second output shaft 19. Since the second gear 18 and fourth gear 22 are a high gear pair 26 equipped with a oneway clutch and a hydraulic clutch, the second output shaft 19 will rotate with higher speed than the first output shaft 13.
